Well if it helps I think a ton of what he writes is absolute horseshit. Every day he has another scoop that we are drafting someone else. it's a lot of clickbait. I certainly dont trust him, or listen to him or his opinions as a source. The one thing that's good about his site is there is a ton of content, and on the rare occasions that there is actual news, he usually has it pretty fast. So from him i get lots of news fast, most of which is crap! But I saw the pic, and just as when he quotes other people, I am able to deal with what they said, and just that Lambert is repeating it doesnt trouble me as long as it is a picture or a quote. But yes, we totally agree, when he says unnamed sources say etc, I dont consider it true at all.

A Carly Simon song comes to mind...
-
It's not about you but taking a snipe at Eric Lambert, he always puts crap out there and you follow him.
-
so snippy LOL "sources matter" OK Mr. Authority the pic is the pic.
-
He weights 310 with less body fat. People think that pic was photo shopped. Sources matter, I'm on his X account. A note: Jarrett, Sweat, Booker, Dexter have been working out together in Florida and a draftee Tyler Baron has been working out with them. Wonder if that will be a sign of him being a future Bear? 6'5"-259-4.62 speed. 6 sacks last year.

totally agree, when hes healthy, he's a good player.
-
He has to prove he can stay healthy for a season, 3 years of not hurts your money. That's the reason he's not back here.

I dunno what it means. Maybe the picture was taken from a weird angle, but he definitely looks lighter. Ill post it below. Allen likes his ends heavier so maybe it makes sense. Maybe they think Grady Jarrett and Billings are the starters? I didnt think Jarrett had that many snaps in him though? Whatever it means, you gotta admit, the roster is full enough now that is hard to know WHAT theyre up to. Maybe this is how coordinators are going to feel in game week before playing us LOL Here is Dexter arriving to voluntary workouts.
-
Yup! The only back worth the #10 is Jeanty and it ain't close...
-
I'm perplexed...
-
Odd note: Tevin Jenkins only got a one year 3 mil contract. There's a lot of stink on his reputation to get that poor of a deal.
-
New pictures of Dexter show a slimmer player, closer to 280ish than last years 312. I wonder if Allen is going to switch him to DE, and that increases our need for a DT in the draft. Interesting.
-
agree, and some people think he isn't even the 2nd best RB. Some like Henderson better, and some like Kaleb Johnson better. Some people love Hampton, and others are not so high on him. People I respect say to avoid him, but i need to watch more film before I have any real opinion on that.
-
for sure - guys "failing" to the inside makes sense, but once someone is good somewhere, moving them is a bad idea. and yes, i think our guys are smarter than that too. I was just throwing it out there as a possibility since ive been looking for a LT, dont like Jones there, and worry that Banks could be gone by 10. But I agree with you and AZ54 not to do that. I also hope that isnt the plan.
-
I believe our current guys are smarter than that. Wright should never play left tackle. If anything else, guard. However, I am a proponent of trying a failed OT at other positions before giving up on them.
-
no I agree with you. I was wondering if thats what they might be thinking. I wouldnt like that at all either
-
You're right, but 99.9999999% people believe the Bears should NOT draft the SECOND BEST RB in the draft with their first round pick.
-
He was a good RB, but has never been a brain when it comes to analysis. And the further away from the field it gets (i.e. player analysis), the worse he becomes.
-
I absolutely loathe the idea of moving OLinemen because someone else sucks or is subpar. We should have learned that lesson as a franchise so many times. Chris Williams, Kyle Long, Cody Whitehair...how many times must this be done before the lesson is learned?

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2025-nfl-draft-top-30-visits-tracker-full-list-of-every-prospect-all-32-teams-are-bringing-in-for-meetings/ Add Will Campbell to the list.
-
Seem to be keeping things quiet. Aaron lemmings always does a running list of visits. This year he has 8 visits so far and only Jeanty would be a first round pick. Conerly and Dylan Fairchild are the only OL so far. The WRs are Isaiah Bond and Jaylin Lane 4.35 and 4.34 speed. Brashard Smith/ RB has 4.39 speed. Johnson is looking to add more speed. I looked up last year's 30 visit list and we drafted 4 off that list and brought in 4 as UDFAs. So the 30 visit list will hint at who they like. Last year we drafted 5 players and 4 were on that list. I'll keep you updated on visits. Does anyone have a better source than lemmings?

Feels like we have gotten a lot less intel on Bears 30 visits this year as opposed to past years. I didn’t go back to see what we knew this time last year, but as far as I can tell, the only visit that have been reported are RB Ashton Jeanty, OT Josh Conerly, RB Brashard Smith, LB Nick Martin, WR Isaiah Bond, OG Dylan Fairchild, and WR Jaylin Lane. There are conflicting reports on if TE Tyler Warren had a visit with Bears - I saw someone (maybe Tony Pauline) say that he had one scheduled then Greg Gabriel said that wasn’t true and I saw someone over the weekend say he only had one visit scheduled so 🤷♂️. Not only do we not have much intel but there really isn’t much to be gleaned from the positions for the visits - we’ve got two RBs and two WRs, but it one projected early round pick and one late. Martin and Conerly make sense as guys who were injured last year and the team might want to check out medically. Poles seems to be keeping things very close to the vest.

LOL dude, Im just saying talk about the player, not what some site has him ranked. Your opinion about him is what matters, telling us we are only fans and cant possibly know anything isnt an argument. A good argument would be "his footwork is bad" or "he plays too high" or "hes bad at handfighting" or something about him as a player. Not just numbers of sacks and pressures. Stuff you see with your eye watching film. Like to me Banks looks really smooth, while Campbell looks a lot less graceful. And then maybe you dont see it that way. So cool. Thats a discussion though. If theres something wrong with Banks, Im all ears. Or maybe instead you want to say why Jeanty or Warren or a DT would be a better choice. Those are all good arguments too. But all Im hearing is that some site has him ranked 3rd or to go after pick 15. Those are narratives, and right or wrong, they arent player evaluation. Also i dont think I watch film better than anyone else. I just watch it. And like a lot of people, if you look, its not so hard to see. Its just football. Weve all been watching it a LONG time. All of our opinions are valid if we just look and say what we see.

Bear pundits must not have much to write about, Bryan Perez reported that the Jets are willing to trade Breeze Hall. He thinks we should trade for him because he's good. The best year for RBs in ages We are already missing picks 4 and 6 He's in a contract year What a stupid idea.
