  1. If you watch the guy, you can't help but want to put the ball into his hands after he makes a big play.
  2. It is petty, and it takes away from the fun of it all. What does it hurt for a guy to celebrate a touchdown, without going wild? I blame Chad Johnson for this crap.

  5. Actually if you had it your way, Grossman would have never played the second half.
  6. People who have to get up at 3:45 am, that's who!
  7. Now what is to say that the tough games Rex has had this season, didn't lead to him being mentally ready to rally this team down the stretch last night? Well that's what it looked like to me anyways.
  8. Great gutcheck by Chicago. Nice to see this with two more tough road games coming up.
  9. Yeah, I had to go to bed and missed it. I can't wait see it.
  10. Pope would still be waiting behind Adrian Peterson too...
  11. So just by sitting on the bench you instantly become a great NFL quarterback? It doesn't matter how long you sit, you still have to learn how to play QB at the NFL level. All not playing does is allow a player more reps in practice, which Grossman wouldn't have been able to get anyway, because he has been hurt. You learn the offense that way, you don't learn the speed of the game or the nuiances of being in the pocket and really experiencing the game.
  12. Good god people. Rex Grossman is still a rookie essentially. I think if you add up all of the starts he has made, he is still approaching the 15 or 16 game mark total. Yeah it seems like a lot more because he has been around for 4 years, but in reality, the kid is still learning. Say what you want about Brian Griese, but Rex Grossman playing at the top of his game, gives us a better chance to win than Griese does. The whole point of the NFL is to make it to the playoffs and to the Super Bowl. The only quarterback we have that is capable of taking us to the next step is Rex, and we need to quit looking so damned short term about everything and realize that by taking his lumps and learning now, is the ONLY chance the Bears have at making at deep run in the playoffs. If the Bears were stupid enough to start pulling the kid in tough situations, he is never going to learn to get through them. Its the same reason baseball managers try to leave their starters out in some pressure situations so they learn to pitch through it.
  13. Harris as in Tommie Harris? Holy shit that is hilarious.
  14. 7-1>10-4 for those who are scoring this at home...
  15. LMAO!!! This thread is hysterical. Out of curiousity, which bridge do you prefer to jump off of? I hear the Skyway is nice this time of year.
  16. That hurts. The deep threat of Berrian has been a huge add on this year, and as we all saw on Sunday, Gage just isn't the same.
  17. Another smart move. I like the fact they are locking these guys up with seemingly no risk.
  18. The writing is on the wall as far as I am concerned... Briggs is going to be gone next year, and these two signings this week just prove it too me. They could have been working on a deal that would have stashed a whole bunch of bonus money into this season, but it doesn't sound like they are even talking to Rosenhaus.
  19. Hell ya Keeping that O-line in tact is huge.
  20. Excellent. Health problems are the one big thing that could derail the Bears right now.
  21. More than likely the Bears are going to be looking at replacing Briggs, so that could very well be what they look at with their first pick.
  22. Benson hate? LMAO. No its called Grossman love. I want the back in the backfield who is going to make sure that Sexy Rexy isn't getting smacked around. Running-wise the two backs seem pretty even. Pass-catching and blocking-wise Jones is so much better than Benson its not even funny, and in this offense, that is what really matters.
  23. Peyton Manning just absolutely tore apart the Broncos defense, so it would be an interesting battle to say the least.
