Briggs is as good as gone IMO. The window to sign him was this off season, and I don't think the Bears start is going to help that at all... All they are doing is adding millions to his eventual contract.

Good lord. I hate to say this, but if things are going to be this stupid, the Bears can't lose soon enough.

Remembering the 85 season all too well, and realizing that it is now 20 years later and the media has expanded exponentially with the spread of the internet machine, it is just scary. It is also the reason I would put money on the fact that the Bears will lose at least one game, if not 2-3, before the end of the regular season.

As deep as the Bears are, they can play and rest their starters the sameway that they usually do. Maybe we will see more of Greise and Benson, but other than the Bears do an excellent job of keeping their troops fresh.

The Bills really didn't even try to go to MacGahee early, which was pretty surprising to me. I know the Bears stuffed him a couple of times early, but Loshman tried throwing the ball way too many times early. The only chance they had was keeping the D on the field and trying to wear them down.

Interesting read. It tells you the Bears can give up some yards, but still have the big play in their back pocket to end a drive.

Look at the results on the field and tell me that the voting should be going otherwise...
