  1. From the sounds of things, I don't think the Bears want to pick as high as #6 because of the cost of signing that player. I'll bet they tried to find someone to take that pick to trade down, and they could not do so.
  2. I am guessing that is Eastern time, and it is the second game on Sunday.
  3. This is really good news. The depth really plays well into the Bears system.
  4. SD is supposed to be a great place to see a game as well, right?
  5. They don't care about image. Image doesn't pay the bills. All they care about is that fat ass contract.
  6. They can suspend him, but it still counts towards the games played. It makes no difference to the bottom line.
  7. What a strrange story. I wonder what really happened???
  8. Wow. The Bears could add a franchise player in this deal at the #6 pick. There are a million different directions they could go depending on what happens in front of them.
  9. Real nice value signings by the Bears. They are being smart with their cap money right now. Hopefully that means nice extentions are coming for some core players. Damn if they got a deal done to send Briggs for some draft picks, I would be thrilled.
  10. Nice thought before the injuries. he has got to be headed out the door in Houston now.
  11. This is a solid value move from the sounds of it. It gives us nice depth and makes us less desparate in the draft.
  12. Hopefully he is a "perfect fit" for the Bears. The depth would be a huge help.
  13. Rex is going to get killed this year. Hopefully Orton and Griese are ready to play.
  14. I don't know if he will or not, but he sure as hell has a big chance to do so. The guy is going to get a ton of reps at the mini-camps and workouts.
  15. Now that makes me much happier. Next project, signing Ian Scott to a deal to give us a little depth in the D line.
  16. A part of me suspects that the Bears have already approached Brown about reworking his deal, and he refused, which is why the Bears went out and got Arch. It makes sense to have your bases covered ahead of time. I would hate to see Brown go, but it is hard to keep paying the guy big bucks for season ending injuries. it is a tough spot to be in.
  17. Wow, Club Lounge. that might be a chance to get in there for people who usually couldn't go.
  18. I have never heard of it to be honest. Sounds like a big tail gate though, and you can't go wrong there
  19. If Brown won't rework the contract, there is pretty much no choice, although I have no doubts he will be one of those guys that kills us if he goes. Anyways, I want to jump in on the chorus applauding this deal. It is a steal and the guarenteed money is pretty low. That gives us a little more depth back there, especially if we get something done with Brown.
  20. Is his contract still the same, or did we redo it?

  22. Good info. Resigning Scott is almost a necesity at this point with the Tank situation looking like a suspension is looming.
  23. With the 6th pick in the draft the Redskins select Jamaal Anderson DE out of Arkansas. The Minnesota Vikings are now on the clock.
  24. With the holes on the D side, we will not take a WR with our first pick.
