  1. Agreed, Duece doesnt seem to be able to block Good thing getting rid of it I guess.
  2. SOme (me mostly) would say hes the best qb to come out of EIU
  3. can someone tell me why Brees is better equipped for the weather because he played at Purdue and Grossman went to Florida, but Grossmans from Indiana and Brees is from Texas and played in San Diego and New Orleans
  4. Im watching the pregame and this is the first I heard about all of Sean Paytons ties to Chicago.
  5. Theres some analyst that I would much rather pick us to lose just because of how bad their lack of football knowledge really is. In the begining of the year I used to pick the exact opposite of what that yahoo writer Charles Robinson picked and did rather well.
  6. Im just gonna go ahead and say it. I think the Bears are gonna win rather convincingly.
  7. I heard a stat on ESPN today that was pretty interesting. No team that plays in a dome has ever won a road game outside in a AFC or NFC championship game.
  8. Wow, good stat. This actually makes me feel mildly better about our chances on stopping their rushing attack.
  9. He said on his radio show he was saying it because he didnt want to jinx the Bears.
  10. When they were talking to some of our defense on Comcast this is retty much what all our guys said. They respect Bush but their main concern was stopping Duece. I remember Urlacher and Ogun saying for sure. I also think Peanut should be able to lock down Colsten. If oour line can pressure Brees without blitzing we should have a lot of success on defense.
  11. Look at most of these "experts" picks over the course of the year. Theyre picking games without spreads and some of them are barely over .500. On the ESPN one Schlereth picked the Bears to lose every week until after the Arizona game.
  12. Im relatively happy with Dez Clark for now but Im thinking for the future mainly. Dez is getting older and is a slightly above average TE. I would only want an early TE drafted if he was a game breaker. The main thing I feel the Bears are missing on offense is a dominant threat somewhere. Right now they have good players at almost every position but with the exception of Kruetz, no offense players that are pro bowlers. I dont see them going after a rb or wr so I figure they might be able to land a game breaker tight endlate in the first round. If not a good coverage safety or run stopping OLB should be our first pick.
  13. WIth our first rounder Id like to see us get the best available of either a safety, olb or tight end, hopefully one that can make an early impact and then start building some depth, especially on the o-line after that.
  14. The Bears defense has been a little suspect the past few weeks. However, I can see the Bears offense having a big week and having success on the ground and through the air. I wouldnt be suprised seeing our defense in a major bend and dont break type mentality.
  15. your sig had me mesmorized for a minute there.
  16. I dont think Jones would hold out. I dont think hes gonna do anything drastic a year before he becomes a free agent in what will most likely be the last contract of his career. There arent many teams who would be interested. I can only think of teams like Giants/Jets and maybe the Texans who need a starting back. I know theres a few more but theres also gonna be guys like Ahman Green that will be free agents this offseason.
  17. Im pretty sure Ogun will play and Bradley wont.
  18. I really have no idea. But if I had to guess. Ill say Bears 31 and Saints 21
