  1. I think mine was the fourth quarter against the Cardinals. I remember watching that game and thinking it was over and I forgot who they had in the booth, some celebrity or analyst who said 20 points isnt a big enough lead for the Cardinals to win the game.
  2. Im with my friend and arguing over Griese Grossman. Bottem line we need to know how many series Griese played last week against Detroit. I think its only one because he only threw for 52 yards on 6 completions and my friend thinks he played longer. Quick help please? Got it, he played 2 for two field goals!!! FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
  3. Just so you guys know, New York winning was one of the things the Packers needed to make the playoffs. They need the Lions and or Vikings to win and they need to win and they have the strength of schedule advantage.
  4. Ok, but give Michael Irvin. Were at least better then Michael Irvin
  5. I dont think Jones-Drew is even in the running for offensive ROY. He has played well but Young, Colsten and Bush all might be better candidates and Young will win it in a land slide. As far as Ryans not making the pro bowl, Ray Lewis didnt even make at middle linebacker and nobodies heard of Ryans.
  6. Its only a two horse race between Ryans and Anderson. Its very close, Ryans has good numbers too. 145 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 int, 1 forced fumble Anderson-27 tackles, 12 sacks, 4 forced fumbles I think its very close.
  7. I really didnt think so. Theres potential for this to be a no brainer but the game could be completely irrelevant depending on what happens earlier in the day. Also, theres a likelyhood the Bears will be sitting people early in the second half and were in the central time zone. Im not sure exactly on all the match ups but I think a better option would be a west coast game for time reasons for New Years eve and maybe more of a win and youre in situation like Denver.
  8. I would give us some more credit then that. We have to be better then the analyst.
  9. I dont think theres that much to it for us. Theyre gonna try to win but I would assume theyre definitly gonna get the lead early. I would figure theyd like to get most starters out by mid third quarter and I dont think what Griese does is relevant if Rex is effective. Tank will more then likely play the whole game to get some timing and be ready for the playoffs. I doubt Tait will play and Im sure will see a lot of Benson and Peterson. I would be suprised if Peanut played too. I think theyre treating this game the same as last weeks. Theres a decent chance the Pack could be eliminated before the game too.
  10. That despite being 13-2 we are still picked as anywhere from 3rd to 5th by most national experts. I wouldnt have it any other way. The fact we havent been playing cover two and have been light on defense makes us seem so vulnerable to the pass when if we were in our base defense none of these long passes would get through the middle of the field because we wouldnt be blitzing safeties and linebackers. I think its a great coaching job by Lovie because it makes us look weak where were not weak. Try running these quick slants on the cover two. That said, I think well give this next game one solid half and then Lovie is gonna wrap it up and rest for the playoffs.
  11. Just to add insult to injury theyre gonna stop selling beer at half time to prevent problems and ticket prices have plummeted.
  12. I generally really like the flex scheduling and think the regular length of preparation is adequate, but this could really create problems for people. Id be really pissed if I had tickets for this game. It pretty much ruins going out for New Years. Im glad I chose to go to the Vikings game instead of getting the tickets for this game.
  13. Packers-Bears game changed to Sunday night Associated Press NEW YORK -- The Green Bay Packers will face the Chicago Bears in the final Sunday night game of the regular season on New Year's Eve thanks to the NFL's flexible schedule. The Packers (7-8), one of five teams vying for the last playoff spot in the NFC, will take on the Bears at Soldier Field. The outcome will have no bearing on Chicago (13-2) because the Bears have already clinched the top seed in the NFC and home-field advantage. The game, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., has been pushed back to an 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. In other changes announced by the NFL on Monday night following the New York Jets' 13-10 road victory over the Dolphins: Buffalo at Baltimore, Miami at Indianapolis, and Atlanta at Philadelphia were all shifted from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. ET. There are five scenarios in which the Packers have a chance to make the playoffs. If they fail, it is possible that Brett Favre will be playing his final NFL game in prime time. If the New York Giants defeat the Washington Redskins on Saturday night, the only hope for the Packers to make the postseason would be with a win and a tiebreaker edge over New York in strength of victory. The moves are part of the network's flex scheduling, a feature of the new television contract with the NFL that's meant to ensure contending teams play in prime time late in the season. 14. I heard somewhere that they were thinking of moving the Bears/Packers game to the Sunday night game on New Years. It also said they have more time to decide and a decision isnt made until 5 days before the game. If I find the link Ill post it. Has anyone heard about this?
  15. There hasnt been as much hype about the TEs coming out this year as there was last year. Anyone who follows college football have any idea of whos good out there and what rounds theyd be available?
  16. It would of been better to try it out this week. Then we have next week and 2 weeks of practice till our next game to see if it would work.
  17. I was thinking something along those lines but I dont know how hard it is to switch positions like that on such short notice and be effective. It could really hurt our rush defense. I know its a much different scale but when I was in high school I played LOLB and if they ever switched me to ROLB for matchup reasons I felt lost on the field at times. These guys are pros though so who knows.
  18. You realize that theres offensive and defensive ROY awards right? Hester might actually had a chance if it was a collective award, while I still doubt it. But Hester doesnt fit into either of the two categories at all so he really has no shot at winning. If there were a special teams ROY he would of had it locked up weeks ago.
  19. Perfect... If Colston was healthy all year I still think Young would get it just for what hes meant to that team. I thought Ryans would be a lock to get it for DROY but Anderson has been playing better each week and on a better team so it could go either way.
  20. Its too bad we have 3 very good defensive ends and could use one very good defensive tackle right now with Harris out.
  21. This was like the super bowl for the Lions and was irrelevant to us on the road to a division rival and we still won. They also werent keeping the starters on the field the whole game and were rotating a lot of new guys in and out. They also were letting Grossman throw a lot more then they would in a meaningful game. I wouldnt put any stock into this game.
  22. What a job to to knock that out on bad coverage by Hester. Mike Williams is a joke.
  23. They better stop these foolios. I wouldnt wanna blow this game on something stupid like this. Wow, this is a big play, they have to go for the end zone and they only got one shot I cant believe they let that happen
