They also would be used as human picks more then they already are. Pretty sure its all gonna be done from the booth or with computers and cameras I bet anyway.
If we did release him he would just sign somewhere else. We really need him for the playoffs so if he says hes gonna turn it around and hasnt been suspended by the league yet then I say we give him this second shot and see what happens.
The Bears dont franchise players very often becuase it is unneeded and expensive in most case. We would be getting a pay cut and the opportunity to keep him around for another year while we prepare a younger guy.
That comeback was rather disheatening but I dont put too much stock into it. We were pretty banged up and kind of just wanted to end the game. If it was something that happened all the time we should panic but our defense is better than that and everyone klnows it.
SOunds good. If we could get him to play for less and have someone else there to share time with him it mihgt go a long way with his health. Either way, we are so much better of a defense when he is on the field and I would like to try to keep him in Chicago.
I dont think RMJ is less of a distraction then Tank is now. He got suspended during one of our most important games of the year for character issues. If anything, RMJ crimes were much worse towards humanity.
That would feel like such a waste to just release him now. We put in his man hours and have been preparing for a few years and now he finally is starting to get good and were probably gonna have to let him go. Then hes gonna go to some team that doesnt care and be a big impact for them defensively.
Grossman should play at least 3 quarters in both games. A. It will help him get his swagger back even more because we know he can light these teams up and it could be his last shootout with Favre. ALso, team chemistry. this messes up the Colts every year. There is a lot to staying a cohesive unit and being familiar with the players around you.
If the games are blowoffs its different but I dont want to be cold going into the playoffs like last year. We have a bye as it is. ANy experience before the playoffs will help.
We just have so many options right now at defensive tackle. We have the best in the league. AN early draft pick in Dvorack, we could resign Boone or Scott, we could still keep Tank. If one fell to us maybe, but not a glaring need.
