They dont have special teams rookie of the year. Its offense or defense. Which one could he win. He wont win either. If this is just a rhetorical question amongst us it might be different but the NFL doesnt have an award for something like this. He could win special teams player of the year and go to the pro bowl though.

Watching Gates play the past few games makes you realize how having someone like that can make a good quarterback great.

I think the only way we resign Briggs is if we franchise him. We can afford to use our second day picks on a OG and OT and let them sit behing the dinosaurs we got now for a little while longer. We need a safety and olb pretty bad though. A tight end as well. We have Harris and could resign Boone or Scott and still have Dvorak. We should keep Terry anyway. It sucks, and if he was on any other team we would be bashing him worth but it is what it is. We brought in RMJ so were obviously not character police.

Im sure Jones wont lose his job due to injury this late in the season. If anything it might give Benson an opportunity to show that its ok if we trade Jones this offseason.
