Thats what Ive seen him say in some interviews. I honestly think if he can scrap some good football together against these next few weak teams it will go along way in preparing him for the playoffs.

I also think it would be different if Jones was playing poorly but hes not. It almost seem like hes elevated his play the past few weeks. Benson has had some nice runs and played ok but nothing close to warrant getting the starting job.

This is exactly right. Benson isnt like TO or anything where he destroys teams. He is more just selfish and would rather do things for his benefit then help the team win. I dont know if its anything that can be fixed or if he will always be like this but its a problem. Now Im not saying that Benson doesnt have more talent or couldnt be exactly what we hoped for when we drafted him but right now hes not. He cannot block and his constant whining is only gonna hurt his relationship with his teammates. There is more to this game then raw talent. This guy has no heart and only wants sympathy. If he could show signs of maturity, put in the time learning how to read defenses and block he might get more carries.

I heard on the radio last night that Harris injury was definitely not season ending. I really hope we can win this game. It pretty much guarentees us HFA and will allow us to try new things and get some back ups work.

That was a technicallity though. He was benched. I think Griese will get some clean up time as the season end nears and they will try to work his timing out so if hes needed in the playoff game hes ready. I dont think theyre gonna make any starting changes unless we lose 2 games and HFA is in Jeopardy. Im willing to say, I have no idea whats gonna happen and I dont think there is an easy answer.

It wasnt as bad as its been though. They were still going deep and passing but they used the run game a little more.

It almost seems like Turner is trying to force Rex out of this slump. With the exception of yesterday it seems like they are calling for more passes and more deep balls.

Accusing teammates at the caliber of Brown and Urlacher is a big deal. Speculation doesnt cut it when talking about these guys.

Well if they trade Benson, the cap hit after this year would be 12 million, 8 million AFTER next year and so on. You cant really afford to pay that. Theyre gonna have to keep Benson for at least another year and pick up someone in free agency.

If either one of them could go a full season without being injured it would really help their arguments

The people pleading for Griese to play and making him sound like a god is what makes me dislike him.

Theres nothing wrong with having 2 backs. A lot of teams in the NFL plit time at the running back position.

Cedric Benson demanding all that guarenteed money then demanding a trade would be quite humorous. Asking for all that is what makes it nearly impossible to trade him.

He was on Mac, Jurco and Harry lobbying for the starting spot next year. He also through in that he wasnt friends with Thomas Jones. I really wish this guy could keep this stuff in the club house. He is hurting his relationships with his teammates and its sad because he has a lot of potential.

Pro Bowl balloting isnt exactly fair. 1. Brees will be in for sure 2. Romo was just added to the ballot, he may get in 3. Bulger has had a pretty good season. 4. Hasselback, despite injury will get lots of votes. 5. Favre, probably his last year, hed get in anyway. 6. Vick has been getting in on popularity the past few years so you never know. 7. Delhoumme is having an ok year so he has a shot. 8. Eli, hes had a terrible year but his name and the fact that hes in NY may get him in. Grossman may get in but he more then likely wont. It doesn't really matter the Pro Bowl is a joke.
