I wouldnt want to bank on anything based on whats going on in practice for the Pro Bowl. Its like the And 1 mix tape guys, nobody is playing real hard, especially on defense. Also, with how many bigger needs we have it wouldnt be a good idea to lose the 14th overall pick in a strong draft for offensive tackles. Even if we got a new qb he isnt going to be able to do anything without a much improved offensive line, a better running back and improved wide receivers. Dont forget about the money he is command in the extension we would have to sign him to also. I wouldnt want to risk losing two good draft picks and tying up a lot of money in a QB who has only had one good season.

Im making my official prediction. Keep in mind this is with the spread. Im taking New England and giving the points. Believe me, I really wanted to find a way to take the Giants but just cant. They key to the game would be if the Bears line could create pressure on Brady alone. Considering the Ravens and Eagles of this year were able to Im pretty sure the 85 Bears would be able to.

If the Ravens dont address QB or at least offense with their first pick you have to question the front office.

I dont really think there are many experts who dont have the 85 Bears in the discussion for best team ever. I think they are always one of the first teams mentioned in the discussion.

This is really a bad year to need a WR. Last year between trades and the draft we could have replaced Berrian much easier. Based on the draft prospects and garbage FA out there we may have to tag him. If we can make a splash on the o line in FA I could even see us using a first day pick on WR. Its a sad day when despite how bad our offense was the best WR and qb out there might be guys from our team.

How much did you think it was gonna be when everyone thought it was a good idea. If OLB was 7.2 this year you would have to know a WR this year was gonna be way more then Berrian is worth.

Im very confident in our whole defense if they can stay healthy. If Harris and Dvoracek can BOTH stay on the field all year our d line should be dominant.

You can nitpick details all you want. However, maybe focus on my point that Benson wasnt a slam dunk pick. The closest think Angelo had to a gimme was Olsen because he was projected to go top 20 and TE was a position we were looking at. the whole point Im making is that Benson was not a consensus pick. So feel free to address the fact I didnt capitalize "the" in my last sentence instead of commenting whether Benson "Looked like a sure thing coming out of college. Can't really blame JA for this one.
