We would have to give up a first and third to get Anderson. Then, if he was there in the second round get Brennan. So essentially were tying up our top 3 picks in two quarterbacks, one out of a pass happy Hawaii team. Then pay Berrian top 10 WR money. So we have the exact same team minus Briggs and Grossman and a rookie QB and Anderson with no new offensive lineman or WRs.

I dont think we should resign him at all. Hes not a number 1 receiver and doesnt deserve number 1 money. Unless he is willing to play for a fair contract I think they could use that money elsewhere. Unless they franchise him in order to trade him.

Berrian franchised? Are you insane. To pay him that much money even if it is only for one year is a horrible idea.

I think Briggs should be a higher priority than someone like Berrian I just dont think it will happen. Hopefully they can find a way to keep him though.

Ya, when they signed hom it seemed like a great addition because he was the best receiver in the league stats wise that year. He is too inconsistent now.

Our problems are solved!! The Bears signed former St. Louis defensive tackle Jimmy Kennedy today. Kennedy has had an injury-plagued career and weight issues, but he appears to be in much better shape. Kennedy was traded to Denver but was cut in training camp and hasn't played this season. He was the Rams' top draft pick — No. 12 overall — in 2003. The Bears would have selected him if he were still on the board. He played one season for Bears coach Lovie Smith while Smith was the defensive coordinator with the Rams. Kennedy is practicing with the Bears today.

I was watching the game last night and right after Blank said Vick might be able to return if he doesnt eat too much fried chicken one of my friends called me and we were curious if it was gonna be brought up today as an issue.
