  1. Again, that.^^^^ Just because they won, plenty of players from that team are overrated to Bears fans. I just want this team now to win one so I can stop hearing about '85 and I can hear analysts everywhere eat crow about Cutler, Urlacher, etc.
  2. Cutler 22-35, 274 yards, 3 TD's, 1 INT Forte 16 rushes, 71 yards, 3 catches, 35 yards, 1 TD Knox 8 catches, 131 yards, 2 TD Bears get a special teams TD and a safety. Bears 36-30
  3. According to Zach Zaidman's twitter, the Bears are 4-1 in their last 5 MNF games.
  4. First off, I'd make sure it's not fake first (and it looks like it is, since Forte never wore THAT jersey with a 75th year anniversary patch). Secondly, that looks too much like a soccer jersey for my liking. Lastly, I'd get the throwback they're wearing this year.
  5. The Jets and Patriots are very good too, but yes, this will be a good test for Cutler. Yeah, 4 straight games with a 100+ PR dating back to last year.
  6. I'm just not sure how people (no offense to you, Mad) can say we can't beat Green Bay. They beat Philly by 7, who beat Detroit by 3. Chicago beat Detroit by 5. Plus, this is a home game for the Bears as well, and I'm thinking the team got the "night game" monkey off their backs after they beat Minnesota at the end of the year last year when all the Vikings needed was a win against a 5 win Bears team and then they'd have home field. If they can get pressure on Rodgers (which is my #1 key for the game), I'm thinking the Bears will be 3-0 around 10:45 CT on Monday.
  7. Is he in agreement, or is he being a smarta**?
  8. Should be a good one on Monday Night. The Bears will wear these and all blue helmets with gray facemasks. Green Bay's throwbacks are hideous.
  9. Tillman is actually a jacka** to the media, however, I agree: I love his ability and he's always been underrated.
  10. I'm not surprised. Dallas is overrated and the Bears are good. However, Hester IS NOT a true receiver...yet. That was a great catch for the TD, but he also dropped a perfectly thrown ball down the sidelines which would've been a TD or would've put the Bears inside the Cowgirls' 3. Also, like someone said, he needs to polish off his blocking skills.
  11. Also, why was Peppers fined? Because he hurt the guy? So..?
  12. Cutler 22-33, 301 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT Hester 4 catches, 58 yards, TD Knox 5 catches, 98 yards, TD Bears 23-19
  13. So is Devin Aromashodu. I mean, Indy can't use him, so he'll be a star here.
  14. I would've traded for Boldin and drafted Flacco, yes.
  15. The key is, besides our defense putting pressure on Romo, our OL must protect. If not, DeMarcus Ware might have 3+ sacks.
  16. Bennett was "hurt" all camp. I think it was the case of him not being able to learn the offense...again.
  17. Like I said in Terra's thread, I'm not a Lovie fan; however, if this team wins like in '05 and '06, no one will mind his calm attitude. And yes, I know it'll be hard to win when the guy is a complete fool with his decision making..
  18. Call me crazy, but I'm pretty optimistic after this game. 1. The LB's today were outstanding. Briggs and Urlacher were great, and Tinoisamoa was flying around, too. 2. It seems like Cutler and Martz really do get along. 3. The secondary played pretty well for the opportunities given. Sure, Stafford missed the 2nd half, but they had double-digits yards at halftime, too. 4. Forte looks very quick, even faster then he did in 2008. 5. The OL wasn't good and the WR's either had drops or ran the wrong routes, but I expect the OL to suck, and the WR's will improve. It was game #1. Obviously they have to limit the TO's.
  19. TBH, if Detroit beats the Bears tomorrow, I won't even consider it an upset. Jahvid Best is very good as long as he keeps concussions to a minimum, talk out of Lions camp is Stafford has been fantastic, Megatron is Megatron, and Suh/Vanden Bosch is dangerous. Luckily, they haven't gotten to fixing their horrible secondary, yet. If the OL plays like they did in preseason, Vanden Bosch and Suh will both get to Cutler 2+ times. However, I can see Cutler throwing for 250+ yards and 3 TD's. The rest will be up to the Bears horrible secondary, then.
  20. I read a stat posted by Brad Biggs on twitter about a week ago that said the Bears have taken ONE offensive lineman in the first 4 rounds of any draft since like 2004. Sickening. Oops. Lucky beat me to it in a thread. Either way, something has to be done. If the team struggles, they need to get rid of the front office, and bring in guys who are willing to draft GOOD offensive linemen.
