  1. As I'm sure you all know, I'm a huge Cutler fan. However, he's starting to get on my bad side. Am I denying that the OL sucks? No. Am I denying that the run game isn't there? No. Am I denying that the defense giving up 24 points is good? No. However, in the biggest game of the year, Cutler had to make some throws, and he didn't. He continually missed easy TD's (Hester, Olsen, Knox) and other throws as the game went along. Again, his poor mechanics are...well...poor. I'd do the trade 100 times out of 100. However, maybe this guy just isn't a winner. People make of his Pro Bowl season last year like he won a Super Bowl. Who cares if he made the Pro Bowl? If he were to go 8-8 this year and make the Pro Bowl but we miss the playoffs, are you going to be satisfied? Everyone likes to say he has no talent around him + the coaches suck, but despite having a great WR, a good WR, a great OL, and a great coach last year, he was QBing a team who went 8-8 (IIRC) and lost a 3 game lead in the last 3 weeks of the season.
  2. Cutler 22-33, 241 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's Forte 19 rushes, 39 yards, 4 catches, 42 yards Hester 5 catches, 59 yards, 1 TD Bennett 5 catches, 47 yards Olsen 4 catches, 74 yards Knox 3 catches, 19 yards Eagles 41-16
  3. Hester has actually been a pretty good WR for us. He had 1 bad game and I'm not condoning that awful performance in SF. But if 1 bad game means you're average, I guess Steve Smith isn't good since he hasn't had a GREAT game so far this year. Hester is still on pace for 80+ catches and 1000+ yards + probably 7-9 TD's.
  4. The best OT on the market will be Marcus McNeill. And Dunta Robinson hasn't been very good at all this year.
  5. I'm not buying that the guy gets knocked out of the game after getting the wind knocked out him. With the way he's being paid, he should be able to get his a** out there and play a few plays after, if he really did get the wind knocked out of him.
  6. This hasn't been talked about, but does anyone think that we've seen the end of Pace. Shaffer came in against the 49ers because Pace got the "wind knocked out of him". I'm not buying that.
  7. He had 2 TD's in the next 2 games after the Pittsburgh game.
  8. Also, he played really well in the 2nd half of that Packers game, but his chance at a GW drive was cut short when Knox decided to stop his route. BTW- can't really fault Cutler in the Falcons game. On 4th and 1, Pace jumped.
  9. 3 of the 5 were his fault. Therefore, he played a horrendous game.
  10. Can Hester play any worse? Like seriously. That drive- false start, holding, then he falls on an out play. Holy s***
  11. Remember when people were saying 2 years ago that they wouldn't trade Hester for a 1st and a 2nd? In hindsight (and at the time), I would've done it.
  12. Actually, SF's defense is horrible against the pass (ranked 24th). The only problem for us is- their run D is ranked 4th, but that doesn't matter, as our OL couldn't even block for Forte against Cleveland, so it wouldn't matter if the 49ers defense was good or bad against the run. I hope I'm wrong, but this game might be a- "we can't run again so now Jay has to make plays" game because if it's that, we might see a lot of INT's again. Keep in mind- Cutler has struggled at night this year and on the road. (11 of his 13 INT's are on the road IIRC).
  13. 3. Jon Asamoah, OG, Illinois ---This guy is an absolute beast. I'm praying he falls here. Everytime I watch Illinois, the whole OL goes at the QB while he pushes his guy 5 yards ahead. 4. D'Anthony Smith, DT, Louisiana Tech ---If he falls here, he's of great value. DT is a very underrated need for us with Harrison's weight issues and Harris' brain issues. 5. Andre Anderson, RB, Tulane ---I'm tired of waiting for Kevin Jones. 6. Dennis Landolt, OT, Penn State ---OT depth. 7. Terrell Hudgins, WR, Elon ---At 6'3 230, I'm willing to take a shot at him this late. Sign Marcus McNeill- 6 years, $46 million Sign Ryan Clark- 4 years, $22 million Resign Manning (there may be others I'm forgetting to resign...BTW- I say no to resigning Peterson) Franchise tag- Ogunleye
  14. Isn't another station going to show it for those who don't have NFL Network? I could be wrong but I thought I heard this...
  15. Sure, he's right. But when his team has lost 4 in a row, he probably should just keep his mouth shut.
  16. I love Jurko. I try to stay away from what he says when on 1000 they started talking baseball, basketball, or even football when the offense is being talked about. But when he gets into the defense, I can listen to him all day. He's very knowledgable being a former DT. BTW- he had the same leg injury that Tommie Harris had, and a year ago, Jurk said this- I doubt he'll ever be the same. It's such a tough injury to come back from. So far, he's been spot on there.
  17. Bennett has made some very nice catches. I think he's the only one on this team that could've made those too.
  18. Cutler B+ Forte D+ Hester A Bennett A- Knox B+ Olsen C Omiyale F Pace F Williams F Kreutz D Garza C-
  19. Good call. Totally forgot. Put Peterson in his spot then.
  20. I see nothing wrong with what Davis said. We all rip the Bears DL- I see no reason why he can't do the same.
  21. Cutler 21-34, 226 yards, 2 TD's, 1 INT Forte 16 carries, 66 yards, 3 catches, 19 yards Wolfe 3 carries, 9 yards Hester 6 catches, 67 yards, 1 TD Bennett 5 catches, 53 yards Knox 3 catches, 31 yards Olsen 4 catches, 56 yards, 1 TD Bears 23-21
  22. Rod Hood has 2 INT's for the Titans already.
  23. OMGZ KYLE ORTON IS THA BEST QB EVA!!!!! HE WINS GAMEZ MAN!!!! Some things never change. He continues to stare down WR's and he continues to play like a** when teams blitz him nonstop. I hope all Denver fans are happy with their QB who maintains their lead but can never come down and win them a game against a real defense.
  24. IIRC, Calloway is from Iowa. I'll have my offseason (FA and draft) up on Thursday.
