  1. Okay, props. Great. Now, these Patriots aren't the same regular Patriots. I didn't think Denver could hang with them, but they did. Now, they have a really tough upcoming schedule (@ SD, SD, NYG, @ BAL, @ IND, PIT, @ PHI). Like somebody mentioned on SoxTalk, the best part of the NFL playoffs are all the average teams being eliminated in round 1. IMO, the Broncos will be one of those teams.
  2. No, we need to win 1 of the 2. After these next 2 weeks, we get Cleveland and Arizona at home. I'll take my chances. Winning both of these next 2 weeks is a bonus IMO.
  3. My thoughts exactly. Shaun Hill is a medicore, almost bad, QB. Obviously, we have a much better QB then that and Gore was out. We need to take care of the ball and get Forte going. They're a medicore team defense (14th against the pass and 15th against the run). Like I said, hand Forte the ball and get some 20+ yard throws in there.
  4. Josh McDaniels acting like a complete a**clown after the game. This isn't college you b***ard. Anyways, Orton is the same QB. They're dialing up 5-10 yard outs every time, with an occasional 10 yard slant. They're lucky their defense is playing very well, or they'd be totally screwed.
  5. Gage would've never been the WR he currently is had he stayed in Chicago. You can say that for Bradley too, and probably Berrian.
  6. Kevin Smith was also fined for his facemask, as well as some other CB from Detroit.
  7. I love Knox as much as I love Bennett and Hester. I think we found our WR's of the future and it helps with such a great QB. Like someone said, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Leave it all the same. Plus, we don't want to rush Knox. Let him see the field as much as he does as a WR + kickoffs. He's a huge weapon.
  8. I know, but I think he qualifies to still win ROY.
  9. Cutler is easily the 6th-8th best QB in football right now. In no order: Brady, Manning, Manning, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Flacco all are before him, except maybe Rivers or Flacco.
  10. Massaquoi had a huge week last week. I'm hoping that doesn't come back to bite us. IIRC, I wasn't a huge fan of Gilbert as I thought he was super raw. I hope Igelsias can be like Bennett next year.
  11. Right now, ESPN has Cutler 5th in the MVP. If he continues to limit his turnovers and if we continue to win (which we should going by the schedule), he can really get it going in terms of the MVP race.
  12. Now that we're 4 weeks in, I'd like to get everyone's playoff predictions NOW and some of the awards. Let me start: AFC 1. Colts 2. Ravens 3. Patriots 4. Broncos 5. Steelers 6. Chargers NFC 1. Giants 2. Saints 3. Vikings 4. 49ers 5. Bears 6. Eagles MVP: Peyton Manning (special mention: Peterson, Brees, Flacco, Eli Manning, Cutler) OROY: Mark Sanchez (special mention: Knox, Moreno, Garcon, Harvin, Stafford) DPOY: Elvis Dumervil (special mention: Allen, Revis, Rhodes)
  13. Our draft should go DT then DE (or vice versa), then OT then OG (or vice versa), then BPA then BPA.

  15. You see the difference between a young QB who's on his way to being elite (Cutler) and a young QB who's way overrated due to where he plays (Romo). Cutler has that killer instinct to win a game (Steelers, Seahawks). All I heard about him is that when you need him most, he won't be there, and that's been totally false. Cutler dives and risks a lot by going for that TD, and it just shows what a future-elite QB will do to win a game. Romo, on the other hand, throws awful passes all 2nd half, and can't the ball in from the 1 to win a game.
  16. Like the Bears, the Lions should have an all "line draft". Their first 3 picks should be DT, DE, and OT, in no order.
  17. I hate to be Captain S***head, but does it matter? I'm happy with the QB we have and I wouldn't trade him for anyone.
  18. I'll shorten this up: QB: A- RB: C WR: B OL: D DL: B LB: C+ Secondary: C- Coaching: B-
  19. Detroit's ST was so late getting their on punt coverage, their KR's and PR's were muffing and fumbling kicks and punts all day, and then they obviously gave up the TD to Knox. Detroit's ST is brutal.

    OMFG

They ran 1 screen pass to him and it went for 12 yards on 3rd and 25. Obviously, that's the smart play there, but why not do that on 1st down?
  21. He was average in that GB game. Remember, 2 of the picks were on WR's/TE's, and in the 2nd half, he was awesome (his only INT in the 2nd half was on Knox, and his QB rating in the 3rd quarter was perfect). Obviously, if anyone thought that game would be a re-occuring trend, you were sadly mistaken.
