While I don't think either team is better than we are, I say MIN in a close game. I give them the edge because it's in Minneapolis. Obviously though, I want GB to win.

I would never wear pink to a football game, even if it's for a great cause. I don't even own any pink clothing...
-
I'll be there. I'm just not big on giving away my seats. Sorry, but have a good time regardless.

Cutler: 26-33, 285 yards, 3 TD's Forte: 25 carries, 101 yards, 1 TD, 4 catches, 36 yards, 1 TD Peterson: 5 carries, 21 yards Wolfe: 3 carries, 8 yards Hester: 7 catches, 78 yards, 1 TD Bennett: 6 catches, 63 yards Knox: 4 catches, 53 yards Olsen: 4 catches, 39 yards, 1 TD Davis: 2 catches, 16 yards Bears 37-16

Kellen Davis tipped Mare's first field goal, and according to Larry Mayer, Mare seemed to rush his 2 misses + he had guys very close again to blocking them.
-
No. You must come out of the endzone, then run back in, and get tackled in the endzone/run out of bounds in the endzone in order for it to be a safety.

I continue to re-read his post and I can't find where he said- "I hope Smith is out". I said I hope he's out this Sunday, but I meant that if he's going to be out, I hope it's just for this Sunday because I love the way he runs and I think he's going to be a star in this league, so I didn't want him to miss a lot of time. I wanted him or Forte in the 2008 draft.
-
Gould makes his FG and Mare makes his 2, and we still win by 3.
-
Kevin Smith has gotten tons of carries at every level and still been productive. If he's out, I'd be shocked, but I love the way he runs, and I hope he's just out this Sunday.

Hey noots, did you text into Waddle and Silvy the other day? Silvy was talking about a certain "noots" and he kept saying how big of a fan you were. Anyway, good job as usual.

Like I said in the gamethread, I was at the game, and the 12th Man is no joke. Those motherf***ers can get the decibels up there.

So far, if my math is right which it usually isn't, Cutler is averaging about 91.7 QB rating each game. I'd take that for sure, and with our upcoming schedule, he should continue to improve on that. Detroit (29th against the pass) @ Atlanta (22nd against the pass) @ Cincinnati (19th against the pass) Cleveland (16th against the pass) Arizona (30th against the pass) @ San Francisco (24th against the pass) Also, I might consider sitting Forte this Sunday. I know Detroit is no slouch and can put some major points up, but Peterson has been equally effective as Forte so far, and we could slip Wolfe some carries as well. This would give Forte 2 weeks to get his hamstring back to 100%, too. We probably won't be running the ball too much anyway against Detroit with how they probably couldn't stop LSU's passing game. We could get out to a lead, then we could have AP and Wolfe share the load. Just a thought.

Neither team really deserved to win the game yesterday, but I'm just happy that the Bears did. Hester is becoming a pretty good WR, too. I hope all the "Chicago WR's suck" talk starts to simmer down.

Being there live, the 12th Man is as good as advertised. I most certainly thought that the Lucas Oil opener last year would be the loudest I'd ever hear a sports building, but the 12th Man matched it. Also, the stadium is awesome. It was a good win. Being in such a tough place to play, I'll take any win. There were tons of Bears fans, and Cutler was pretty damn good. I just wish Forte would get it going- he looks so tentative. Briggs and Afalava were great.
-
I actually agree with you. While Briggs might be the brighter guy in terms of saying the right stuff, you never want to see the face of the defense go down. That's like a Pittsburgh fan saying that they're happy with Polamalu's injury because he wasn't very vocal and now they'll have a vocal leader. Come on...
-
I agree with Briggs- it sounds a lot like Housh wanted to play here. Like I said in another thread, for the length of his deal, I wouldn't want him here.
-
Housh pissy at Angelo...nice locker room material.

Actually, I'd love to have him on this team. It wasn't so much the money he signed for, but the years he signed for. If he was playing for us, we'd have Bennett, Hester, Knox, Iglesias, DA, and then him. Chances are, Knox would've never gotten this shot and neither would DA if we had Housh. -
Yeah, I can say that I can't stand TT but there's nothing wrong with this.
-
Wow, expects ARE high.

OUT: LeRoy Hill Sean Locklear Josh Wilson NO PRACTICE TODAY: Matt Hasselbeck TJ Houshmandzadeh Brandon MeBane Lofa Tatupu LIMITED PRACTICE: Ken Lucas FULL PRACTICE: Deion Branch Julius Jones Walter Jones Chris Spencer
-
And winning is great, under any circumstance. They could trot out the Temple football team against us, and I'd be happy with a win.

He didn't even practice today. Big deal. -
So if we go 2-1 against an injury ridiculed team, that makes it meaningless? Yet, if we lose, we'll all be b****ing about how such is unacceptable.
