  1. I'd guess DA will be active this Sunday. It's just a hunch.
  2. Here's my take: suck it up throughout the year, and go out this offseason and sign a true #1, like say...Vincent Jackson, TO, Brandon Marshall, Greg Jennings, or try to trade for one. Plus, remember, we took Iglesias in round 3 this year. He still has a chance to be a good WR.
  3. I'll also be at the game. I'll also be there next week in Seattle, and the following week in Chicago vs the Lions.
  4. Cutler: 18-33, 233 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 1 rush TD Forte: 24 rushes, 79 yards Wolfe: 4 rushes, 13 yards, 1 catch, 33 yards Hester: 6 catches, 68 yards, 1 TD Bennett: 5 catches, 59 yards Olsen: 3 catches, 43 yards Aromashodu: 2 catches, 19 yards Knox: 1 catch, 11 yards Bears 20-16
  5. I'll also be there. Can't wait. 20-16 Bears
  6. If you had any balls, you'd name it Jay or Jayson. Congrats.
  7. Is this a "predict SB44 thread"? No. Anyways, I think we match up well with them. Like you said RME, both QB's are coming off bad games, both teams have their leaders out, both teams had no running game in week 1, and both teams had awful OL's. I'll say take the Bears in the betting world.
  8. In PE class when I was 17, during soccer, my pinky toe was kicked in, and the diagnosis was dislocated. I can't even imagine what a dislocated wrist feels like. Get well soon, Brian. Bear Nation loves you.
  9. Was it just me, or did Forte look bigger (fatter) and slower? I know he had like 3 holes to run through, but when he did, it seemed like he wasn't hitting them very hard.
  10. I can't believe that I was happy when he was holding his ankle. On every replay, he was on his a**. Just an awful performance on his part.
  11. Besides everything, he looked fantastic. IIRC, he caught every pass thrown his way. 4 catches for 90 yards + a TD is mighty impressive. Also, he didn't look confused. If he stays healthy, he's going to top 1100 yards and 7 TD's.
  12. WR's for Orton were never stopping and falling on routes. End of story.
  13. This seriously blows. I really hope this doesn't turn into a 5-7 win season. Ugh, to see Denver get a top 10 pick because of an injury to our MLB would hurt.
  14. Exactly. I love all the casual fans on Facebook. "OMG CUTLER SUCKS", "REX IS BACK", and "HE THROWS LIKE A GIRL". Seriously, just shut the f*** up and relax. Those same people will be the ones who are on their knees for him when he throws for 300 yards and 3 TD's. He had an average first game but it wasn't as bad as every casual fan thinks. The WR's weren't finishing routes and were dropping passes, the TE's were nowhere to be found, the OL couldn't pass or run block, and we didn't get much out of our ST.
  15. If Clark catches that pass that went right through his hands on the previous play in the endzone, there wouldn't have been an INT. Just saying..
  16. Frank Omiyale looked bad. Just plain bad.
  17. That was just awful. There is absolutely no excuse for that.
  18. Hasselbeck threw 2 INT's today vs the Rams in Seattle, and they'll be without Trufant, Jones, and Spencer. If we got pressure on a pretty good pass blocking Packers OL, we should destroy Hasselbeck.
  19. Mortensen and Collinsworth both are blaming 3 of the 4 INT's on either a TE or a WR.
  20. If Clark catches that pass in the endzone, there was no INT by Jolly. It sucks that it all looks bad on JC's part, but I'd put only 1 of the INT's on him. They need to start to run the ball effectively, and when JC drops back, the OL needs to give him more time. Big ups to the D so far.
  21. Our WR's looked good in preseason, but it was just preseason. GB's offense looked awesome in the preseason. It makes no sense, but the Bears have never gotten respect. Oh well.
