Well, they used our pick last year on Robert Ayers, and so far going by what Denver fans are saying on their message boards, they aren't too happy at this point.
So wait, let me see here. First it was- why did we trade for JC? We have nobody to catch the ball. And now, it's- these guys catch the ball but then they just fall.
I could give 2 s***s what Earl Bennett does after he catches the ball. All the current great WR's catch the ball and fall unless they catch it on the run across the middle or on a bomb. Ever see Randy Moss catch a 10 yard pass standing still and try to run with it after? Me neither.
I read that forum on a daily basis for laughs, and I tell you, they never let you down with comedy. Yesterday, they were crying over how they miss JC's ability to throw on the move.
Denver kept the pick we traded them, but traded their's to Seattle.
Therefore, Seattle will have their pick (probably top 10) and Denver will have ours (in the 20's).
QB: Hasselbeck, Mark Sanchez
RB: LT, Ray Rice, Mendenhall, Cadillac Williams
WR: Andre Johnson, Bowe, Josh Morgan, Bess, Manningham
TE: Olsen, Keller
K: Josh Brown
DEF: Cowboys, Texans
Keep in mind it's a 16 team league.
Thoughts?
I'm going to guess that Leftwich is Tampa's QB. Rumors out of Tampa are is that whoever wins the starting job, the loser will get dealt in order to make Freeman the #2 QB.
What would you be willing to give up to make McCown our #2, if anything at all?
He played in all but 1 game from the 2004 season all the way through the 2007 season. Last season, he missed 7 games. I wouldn't say that's exactly being a sissy.
I'm not all that concerned with that. We have the meanest player in football (Kreutz) to help Cutler if things get heated and a damn good RB (Forte) to take the heat off Cutler on blitzes.
Well, as someone who used to work at a sports store, I know the difference, and I must say- the "authentics" that aren't real look terrible. To the casual fan, they may be nice and they might think they're authentic, but they aren't.
I'd rather just have a screenprint for $65-75 or a premier style for $100-110.
Yeah, I have the orange Urlacher and the blue Forte screenprints.
Forte. What a beast. 31 teams couldn't use him last year. I'm glad we drafted him. Imagine him in New England...
Over/Under: 1100 RUSH yards for him this year?
Don't forget the 3rd round pick.
It's funny how Denver then traded their 2010 1st to move up for Alphonso Smith (DB, Wake Forest) in the 2nd round of the 2009 draft. So, they'll have our 1st in the 2010 draft, yet Seattle will have Denver's in 2010. Therefore, Denver will have a pick in the 20's, yet Seattle will have one in the 10's.
What about Chris McAlister? I'm pretty sure he'd be a decent fit here, atleast until Bowman and Tillman get healthy, and Vasher gets healthy/gets his head out of his a**.
Wasn't it a car wash? Either way, I say no to Marvin. His skills are beginning to diminish as well as his speed. I think he benefitted greatly from having every ball thrown right at his facemask from Manning his whole career in a dome.
As for Marshall, we have nothing to give up. I wish he'd just play out this season in Denver and then become a UFA which would hopefully give us a chance at him through free agency, but that won't happen. I'm guessing he gets traded to either NYG or NYJ, and gets a 5-6 year deal worth $9-$10 per season. However, off the top of my head, I'm not sure how much the Jets have to offer after moving up for Sanchez in this past draft.
