Bears sign Matt Slauson
If you go by Rich Cimini's opinion, yes. If you go by WF's opinion, yes. If you go by PFF, yes. So, I'll say yes.

Bears sign Matt Slauson
If I'm Emery, I actually select a guard, not a RT who can be converted to guard. Trade down and take Warford. If I want a G, I'll take Warmack or Cooper if they fall. If not, I go BPA. I don't want them taking a guy at 20 and then moving him.

Latest Walters mock
There is talk of Mathieu potentially going in round 3. I'm off his bandwagon anyhow. Fluker is a bad pick because they already have 3 RT's on the team. Te'o sucks.

Bears sign Matt Slauson
Fluker is a RT.

Bears sign Matt Slauson
RT @BradBiggs: #Bears will sign G Matt Slauson to a 1-yr contract, NFL source says. Ex #Jets lineman fills void created by departure of Lance Louis.

Mathieu
Did Tharold Simon work out? He's another guy they could pick in round 4 or 5.

So are we on track to be good?
Tommy Kelly is a loser. He got a fat contract and never showed up after. I want him nowhere near the Bears and I'd be surprised if any team picked him up.

So are we on track to be good?
11-12 wins?? I say 9-7 next year based off of what I know. To be a 10-12 win team: 1. Webb has to be much, much better but this time at RT. 2. Bushrod has to be good, not average like he's always been. 3. Jeffery has to be good, not average again. 4. McClellin has to have 7-9 sacks. 5. They have to stay healthy. 6. Cutler has to be better + buy into this new system. 7. For once, Forte has to stay healthy. 8. Martellus Bennett has to earn his money and Earl Bennett has to stay healthy. 9. Hester has to be somewhat impactful on KR/PR. 10. They have to come away with 2-3 draftees who contribute right away, particularly at G, where the thought of Carimi and Brown being the starters at G makes me want to vomit. For me, that's too many IF's to consider them a "11-12 win team," sorry.

James Anderson signed
The only issue I have with Brown is that he gets knicked up a bit. He plays through it, but that doesn't always transfer to success on the field. Otherwise, I don't see many weaknesses in his game.

Dolphins sign Lance Louis
1. Money 2. Money 3. Money 4. Weather As funny as that may seem, it's true. There is no question that Jeff Ireland is the worst GM in football. He repeatedly makes stupid signings, trades, and draft picks. He even is a gigantic scumbag.

Dolphins sign Lance Louis
One of the very few OL the Bears have developed in the past 10 years. It's a shame. I wish him the best though.

Hayden to be brought back
Exactly. There is depth everywhere.
-
Te'o
Still slow RT @BFeldmanCBS: Manti Te'o just ran unofficially a 4.75 40 according to ESPN at Notre Dame's Pro Day.
-
Jonathan Scott is back
So you honestly believe that if they would've announced Urlacher wouldn't be back on March 10, Bushrod and Bennett wouldn't be with the team right now?
-
State of the Offense
Everyone said that last year too. No one is a bigger fan of his than I am, but I've lost faith in a sense that I'm not going to believe that with a whole new system (again) that he'll play THAT well this year.
-
Hayden to be brought back
RT @vxmcclure23: Kelvin Hayden expected to re_sign with Bears, according to source. Nothing official just yet.
-
Kellen Davis
"He looked like he might not be inept as a receiver?" You did see more than 0 games he's played in, right?
-
Jonathan Scott is back
Good move. This all but assures Carimi's last option is at G with Webb battling Scott at RT.
-
State of the Offense
Bears top offensive needs right now: 1 G 2 C 3 WR (slot) 4 T 5 FB
-
Kellen Davis
Yeah, this happened a few days ago. The Browns always find a way to add an extremely shitty player once every offseason. It's no wonder they're always picking in the top 10.
-
Zbikowski to be a Bear
He is from Buffalo Grove. He's not "coming home" because he played at ND.
-
James Anderson signed
Another LB. Good depth and fits the scheme. 275 tackles from 2010-2012 (2 years).
-
Is Hester expendable?????
Like Tyrann Mathieu..

SCS March Draft
OL is strange. Not that I agree with it, but what year was it when Duke Robinson came out of Oklahoma? Everyone had him as the #1 interior OL and he went in round 6. He's not even in the league anymore. I'm not saying Thomas and Johnson are great or anything but with OL it's tricky. Another example is last year- Mel Kiper had James Brown as a 3rd round guy.
-
Goodbye to Urlacher
Yeah a lot if us had them signing Williams and Zbikowski.
