  1. The WR's looked bad today. They were so bad that they all had to do push-ups after practice. Cutler threw it well and Olsen has been unreal. Urlacher picked off a Cutler pass and took it for a TD.
  2. It's the first practice, f***ing relax.
  3. To start, I think Iglesias, Knox, and Rideau all looked fantastic today. Cutler was a bit off but he probably had some nerves + it was his first practice as a Bear. Olsen looked outstanding. Danieal Manning had hamstring cramps and barely participated. Forte looks stronger + a new tattoo on his right arm. Briggs and Urlacher 11-on-11 drills with the first team offense Cutler Cutler and Hester Forte Hester Cutler Breaking the huddle after drills The WR's Cutler and Bennett Hester
  4. The season tickets got here a week or so ago. Have fun at your game!
  5. Urlacher claims that if 4 guys had to separate the 2 in the locker room that he's fairly confident this wouldn't have been kept a secret for this long. Also, he says the only time he's ever been mad with Cutler is when he zings a fastball by his head. Eat s***, Viqueens.
  6. I want to believe Wade is starting s*** but he's Urlacher's best friend. I don't think he'd go make this up. 670 is reporting that Urlacher went after Cutler after an OTA. David Haugh, however, is shooting that story down.
  7. Go ahead and miss TC and the preseason. Tillman is a warrior out there and despite taking criticism, he's still a damn good CB. He'll be back out there as soon as his body lets him.
  8. I'll have pictures for you guys definitley.
  9. I'd take him as a #1 WR anyday. Come on. At WR, he could touch the ball 10-13 times a game. On kicks and punts, probably 5-8.
  10. I'll be there the first 2 days.
  11. I don't see why Turner would have a down year compared to last year. Sure, he might not have 17 rushing TD's, but even 13 or 14 + 1 or 2 through the air is worthy of a top 2 pick. Rodgers is only going to get better. He had 28 TD's and 13 INT's last year and that was his first full year. Now, he has Jennings in a contract year + 1 more year of experience.
  12. How is Crabtree a dud? He's a freaking rookie. And how can you say Rodgers and Turner will be duds? Brown from UConn.
  13. Devin Hester (Cutler lands atleast 5 more deep balls in his arms) Michael Jenkins (it's about his time and will get single coverage with Roddy White) Jason Campbell (first year with the same coach) Terrell Owens (first year with team = always a huge year) Hakeem Nicks (huge hype with him being the Giants new #1 WR) Lee Evans (a huge year with the addition of TO) Cedric Benson (he played really well with Cincinnati last year and will be better if Palmer stays healthy)
  14. Also, they drafted Aaron Curry who is the heavy favorite (it seems) to win the DROY this year, and Max Unger in round 2 will help their OL. I can easily see Seattle winning 8-10 games this year.
  15. The Seahawks aren't really all that horrid. They played last year practically without their pro-bowl QB.
  16. Do you have room for 1 more in a free league? If so, count me in.
  17. The first day of TC is next Friday. I can't wait to be in attendance! Also, the season tickets came today! Cutler is on the Pittsburgh game!
  18. Then again, Lovie has said he will be calling the plays on defense.
  19. Most definitley. Not a problem.
  20. We won 9 games last year without Omiyale, Cutler, Pace, Iglesias + Knox (whatever we get out of them = bonus), a healthy Jones, and a healthy Chris Williams. I think we have all the pieces and then some. While I think our safeties are medicore, Ogunleye and Anderson are in contract years and they will (atleast 1 of them will) get to the QB this year which makes it that much easier on the secondary. The word out of OTA's is that Vasher is in great shape, too. I'll be at the first 2 days of TC (July 31 at 3, August 1 at 7) and I can't wait.
  21. Just wanted to see who you guys think will lead some statistical categories. Here are mine: TD receptions: Olsen (7) Receptions: Hester (71) Receiving Yards: Hester (1123) Tackles: Briggs (149) Sacks: Ogunleye (10.5) Interceptions: Tillman (6) Forced Fumbles: Tillman (7) Biggest surprise: Ogunleye (special mention: Iglesias, Kevin Jones) Biggest letdown: Vasher (special mention: Anderson [at this point, is him struggling even a letdown though?], Bennett) Bears finish 11-5 and win the NFC with a 27-13 win at home vs Atlanta.
  22. Yeah, I'm not sure how he's doing a great job. He recruited the best QB talent in Clausen coming out of high school and got him a few years back and he's been medicore. Tate and Floyd are good but nobody can get them the ball. Going to a bowl game and beating Hawaii doesn't show me that Weis is doing a great job at all, but losing to Navy in South Bend shows me how average he's been.
