  1. I hope Driver is reading this- Hester > Steve Smith in their 1st 2 years in receptions and TD's. Look, that might not mean a lot, but it's the truth. Hester is going to have a 1100 yard season this year, and that will be plenty. Driver is forgetting we have Olsen, Clark, and Forte who aren't WR's yet they all catch the ball tremendously well. Jay Cutler is going to make everyone around him that much better, and we also added Pace to the OL. Sure, he's old, but he gave up only 2 sacks in 14 games last year, so that makes it easier on the QB to get the ball cleanly to the WR's/RB's/TE's. Maybe Donald should be worried about how they won 6 games last year, added nobody offensively, are switching schemes defensively, and are depending on 2 rookies (Raji, Matthews) to make that new scheme click. Good luck winning 8 games with that formula, a**holes.
  2. I don't see a way Roddy White leaves Atlanta. I don't like Marshall and his problems, and I'm not an Antonio Bryant fan. I'm not sure what Braylon's problems are with his drops, but until he figures them out, I'll pass. I'd love TO, and I bet TO would love to have not signed in Buffalo had he known Cutler was coming here. Every first year with a new team for TO, he's unreal. BTW- I believe Greg Jennings will also be a UFA after this season.
  3. Really? Because Benson had a pretty good year last year with Cincinnati. Also, that's not the point. The point is, he's never positive. If we win the Super Bowl, make sure it's by 3 TD's, or it might not be good enough...right? And yes, a great QB makes average WR's good. So..
  4. Let's see here- didn't you say you hated Benson, Grossman, and the Bears WR corps, and didn't you also say that we gave up too much for Cutler? Are you sure you're a Bears fan? You're Bears88 Jr. Just stop. Nobody thinks your little one liners ripping the Bears organization are funny or intelligent. F*** the preseason. I can't wait for the first snap of Bears/Packers on SNF.
  5. Braylon Edwards sucks. Plus, they wanted a 1st and 3rd for him around draft time.
  6. Best of luck to the man. He looks like a total goof in his new, non-revolution style helmet.
  7. Yeah you're probably right. Then again, we could wait until next offseason when he's an UFA. Didn't the Bears win that game 37-34 in OT? Did you mean Shaun Rogers? Otherwise, that's pretty interesting.
  8. Hasn't Marshall already said he didn't like Chicago? I mean, that was without Cutler here, but still...
  9. On 2nd and 1, Turner was calling pass plays which the 1 resulted in a fumble. The defense couldn't stop the run. Benson pussed out. Oh well.
  10. It's hilarious how easily people forget the @ Packers, Lions, Seahawks, Bills, 49ers, @ Jets, @ Giants, @ Rams, and Bucs regular season games from 2006 where Rex was awesome. Take the Bucs game- the great defense we had gave up 31 points to an eventual 4 win team and Rex played awesome which clinched home field throughout the playoffs. Or the Giants game, where everyone was calling for Orton and the Rex-led offense scored 38 points AT GIANTS STADIUM. Also, don't forget his solid performance in the playoffs against Seattle and his very good game in the playoffs against the Aints.
  11. Rex was never as bad as people here made him out to be. He led us- YES HE LED US- to that Super Bowl. I wish him all the best down there in Texas.
  12. The biggest stat of Cutler has to be his 13-1 (or something) record when his defense holds opposing offenses to under 21.
  13. How is Forte's strength so slow? He played all 16 games as a rookie.
  14. I'll still stand by this- I'll bet anyone here that Hester catches atleast 72 passes this year.
  15. He's only batting .100? I thought it was more like 1.000? Just busting your balls a bit. I think we all know what you meant. But yes, he's definitley having an unreal offseason. I can't wait for the season to get underway. BTW- can we refer to this guy as Tino or PT so we all don't have to write his name out all the time? Just like can we all refer to Iglesias as JI?
  16. I'd bet anyone here that Hester and Olsen catch 70 and 60 passes, respectively.
  17. Who is going to catch the ball? Hester, Bennett, Iglesias, Olsen, and Forte. Why was that so tough?
  18. FWIW, my white authentic Cutler came today. Looks awesome.
  19. That's actually really f***ing funny.
  20. dabearsblog.com Pretty funny. The last point gave me the chills.
  21. The NFC North is, IMO, the best division. If I'm starting a team and I need a QB, RB, and WR, I'd look right here. Cutler or Rodgers, Peterson, and Calvin Johnson. Bam.
  22. If he comes to Minny, I think they should be preseason favorites to win the North. Last year, they were a QB away from possibly getting to the Super Bowl. Favre, after getting to 9-3 or 9-4 last year, was then asked to lay off the run and start throwing, which ended up leading to his downfall in NY.
