At 99, it's Iglesias
- Lot of player we like still on the board
Louis Murphy? Hell no. The best UF WR ever is Cris Collinsworth. At Florida, you're asked to just run around and get open. That doesn't work in the NFL, and Murphy has had his share of drops this year. Iglesias > Murphy- Im sorry but i dont like the way this draft is unfolding
There goes Johnson. F***! Go Robinson then Iglesias now.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
Mouton in the 3rd?- Im sorry but i dont like the way this draft is unfolding
Rashad Johnson is still there. Go Johnson at 99. If he isn't there, go Robinson at 99 and Iglesias at 105. Iglesias that late is of pretty good value.- Lot of player we like still on the board
Turner just went to Miami. Really? Turner over Iglesias? I'm a big USC fan but Iglesias > Turner. This is shaping up to possibly be in favor of us. If there's anyway Duke Robinson falls to 99, he has to be the pick. Then go Iglesias at 105.- Lot of player we like still on the board
Barden to the Giants.- Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
DJ Moore Juaquin Iglesias Rashad Johnson Ramses Barden Duke Robinson All still there. EDIT- scratch Williams. What are the Lions doing? They still haven't added an OG, OT, OC, DE, DT, or CB.- Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
I understand. I figured it out once I looked back on the last 10 SB winners and just about all of them are/were good or great QB's.- Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
I didn't when all the rumors started. In about 2 weeks, I started to hop on the bandwagon. That was in mid March.- Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
He'll probably start at DT at his current weight, and maybe line up at DE in some cases. Then again, he could lose 15-20 pounds and become a full time DE. Who knows?- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
I just made a Gilbert thread. Is that okay if we all just post our thoughts on each individual Bears picks in those individual threads, and then all the other picks in here?- Jarron Gilbert it is at 68
I don't like this. At all.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
Shonn Greene to the Jets, Bradley Fletcher to the Rams, Alex Magee to KC. We're up.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
Double post. Delete.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
Michael Johnson is of ridiculous value at 68. I think Rashad Johnson would be a nice pick too. My 3rd option there is probably Juaquin Iglesias. What do you mean, why trade down? To pick up more picks. Don't ever just take a guy just to take a guy. You like him so much yet you can't even remember his name. I'm happy you aren't the Bears GM. We traded down to pick up Hester. How stupid, huh?- Well...
I would have loved Sean Smith at 49, but I like this trade as well. Michael Johnson or Duke Robinson at 68, and then go WR at 99 AND 105. Thoughts?- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
But there are plenty of solid looking TE's who will go in round 3 (where Detroit has 2 picks), like James Casey from Rice or Shawn Nelson from Southern Mississippi. Look, I'll take it, but for a team who just spent potentially $73 million over 6 years on a QB, you better protect him.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
What the hell are the Lions doing? Really? How will Stafford throw to Pettigrew and Johnson if he doesn't have any time? Maualuga would have been a great pick at this point. This is the Lions for you.- JD reports we want D Williams
He's 6'0 195. He reminds me a lot of Eddie Royal. He ran a 4.6 at the combine but he had the flu. At the PSU pro day, he ran a 4.4.- JD reports we want D Williams
On ESPN1000, JD just reported that we really want Derrick Williams out of Penn State at 49. Yuck. Give me MoMass over Williams.- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
Erin Andrews reported that someone at Crabtree's table, when Oakland took DHB, said something along the lines of "whew", intending- "thank the Lord".- Official 2009 NFL Draft Thread
If the Jags go OT and Crabtree falls to the Packers and they take him, I'll be pissed. Rot, Al Davis, you a**hat. EDIT- they took Raji. The Jags went with Monroe. I'm betting SF goes with Crabtree.- Lions agree with Stafford
Which means Crabtree falls to 7, 8, or 10.- Lions agree with Stafford
6 years, $41.7 million. All of it guaranteed. per ESPNnews. Mortensen also says that Tyson Jackson to KC at #3 is a lock. - Lot of player we like still on the board
