TalkBears Mock Version II
If we pick Herman Johnson in round 2, I'll puke. Here's from Footballsfuture.com's Senior Bowl practices recap: Unless he's there with our 4th round pick, I'd rather have plenty of other guards (Duke Robinson, Kraig Urbik, Trevor Canfield, Andy Levitre) over Johnson.

Sharper anyone interested
Is he? Because like someone said, he's been apart of an awful Vikings secondary for awhile. He's going to want some money still and I'm not so sure he's an upgrade over Manning.
-
Housh a Viking?????
Michael Smith says that he'll either end up back with Cincy or be heading to the Seahawks.

Who at # 18
DHB is 6'2 210. And while he was under-used at Maryland, how is that his fault? Plus, unlike for Maclin at Missouri, at Maryland they ran a pro-style offense.

Denvers Cutler wants to be traded
Cutler has great throws and then bad ones. He reminds me of a better Grossman. Last year, he threw at 62% but he had 18 INT's with 25 TD's with 2 fumbles lost. Also, here he doesn't exactly have Brandon Marshall. For all the people who hate Rex's mistakes, how would you deal with another, slightly improved, Rex? I would never trade a 1st and two 2nd's for him.

Sharper anyone interested
Sharper couldn't even catch Booker last year in Chicago when Booker ran away from him for a TD. I bet we get him, but I don't like it.
-
Add a safety a must
Darren Sharper couldn't catch Marty Booker last year in Chicago. Why Jerry why?

Maclin-Ayers-Tupou for me. If Maclin is there, we HAVE GOT to take him. With his injury at the combine and DHB's impressive outing, I can see Maclin falling to us.

Saints resign Stinchcomb
Well, if Barnes does go to Seattle or stays in Jacksonville, we're looking at a 1st or 2nd round OT for sure now, I'm guessing.
-
TalkBears.com Mock Draft I
If our draft went Beatty-Loadholt-Byrd/Watkins, I'd shoot myself.
-
Cassell
They also probably have some sort of compensation to give for Cassell depending on the year he has, and they'll give him a 6-60 contract with probably 25 guaranteed.
-
Cassell
Peter King says it's for KC's 2nd rounder. The Pats could end up have two 2nds and three 3rds.

Bears gain from Tampa Bay's losses?
Clayton had an unreal rookie year. 1000+ yards and 8 TD's. However, since then, he's had the drops and has been hurt here and there. At the right price, I wouldn't mind bringing him in here. Maybe all he needs is a fresh start...
-
Lions interested in Rex?
A nice spot for him could be in KC.
-
AND THE FIRST NEW BEAR IS ?
I was reading a Panthers board and they are pretty high on him. There aren't many guys who could get playing time when Jordan Gross and Jeff Otah are in front of you. He has a fairly high ceiling and I'm anxious to see what he can do. I'm not stoked on the money we gave him, but maybe he'll earn it.
-
Why I hate the Redskins
I hope he goes back to rookie through 3 years ago Haynesworth.

Are the Bears going to land Housh? (with link)
Of course we could afford it. We have about $25 or so in cap space (give or take a million) and Houshmanzadeh will cost about $9-10 per. I'm not a fan of the guy or the signing, but if we did sign him, I'd love the effort of trying to see what Orton can do with some true weapons.
-
Bills cut OG Derrick Dockery
I wouldn't mind Dockery depending on the cost. Chances are, we'll sign 2 or 3 FA's and none of them will be highly-touted. It's the Angelo way minus Moose.

Goodbye Rex Grossman
Rex was underrated if you ask me. How many Bears QB's can say they led the Bears to a Super Bowl? And yes, he did lead them. In the last month, the Bears D was giving up 27 points to teams like STL, NYG, and TB, and Rex played well in all those games. He was never an ignorant asshole and took his career as it came. If he goes to the AFC, I hope he tears it up.
