  1. BUT THEY CAN'T SIGN GROSS AND TAG PEPPERS!!!!! RIGHT NFO?!!!
  2. If we signed Pacman, I would never watch another Bears game until he was gone. He's a criminal thug who after 18 thousand arrests and run ins with the law still has not learned his lesson. If the Bears signed Dunta Robinson for something like $5-6 per over 5-6 years, then traded Vasher to the Texans for a 4th, I'd love that.
  3. Haynesworth has been hurt on and off, inconsistent, and been a dope his whole career. Pass.
  4. If the Packers sign him then draft BJ Raji, they have a good start on their new 3-4 defense, which is scary. I hope he goes to any of those 4 except GB- not only because they're in our division, but they're in our conference also obviously, and the 3 others are in the AFC.
  5. Orton's arm strength isn't the problem. It's the fact that he can't throw the ball accurately down the field. Has he ever underthrown Hester on a deep ball? No, he's always overthrown him. Now obviously, the point is his down the field throwing isn't where it needs to be, but I'm just sick of people saying he has a weak arm.
  6. Someone posted this on here the other day and I saved it to my computer. We should all do it.
  7. I'm sure if they traded Peppers, they could come to an agreement with the team they are trading with of picking up some of the money. I'm not sure how the tag works, but I'm fairly certain the new team either picks up half or all of the salary, or it's just the whole tag goes away and then they re-do a long term deal. Plus, even if the Panthers had to pick up all of the contract, I'm sure there are guys who they can cut to work it out.
  8. There is no way any team gets a shot at Gross except Carolina. He's openly said he loves the organization and wants to stay there, and he's now their #1 priority after Peppers said he wants to go play in a 3-4. They'll likely franchise Peppers then trade him for picks, and give Gross a 5-6 year extension worth $8-10 per year.
  9. Barnes was the human false-start last year for the Jags. I don't care if he costs $700K next year, I'll pass on him. I also like Carey, though. Rumor has it, however, he's Miami's #1 priority coming into this offseason, so the chances he's not playing in Miami next year are slim.
  10. If the Bears pay him Fitzgerald money, then he won't be arguing with anyone. Plus, Orton isn't average- he was playing well until an injury. Now, that's not to say he's about to come back next year and be Dan Marino, but he was a top 10 QB before his ankle injury, IMO.
  11. Sign Mike Goff, keep Beekman and Garza around, and possibly draft a guy in rounds 6 or 7. Is that an option?
  12. I'm not so sure. Obviously, I agree on everything you said, but he still probably wants $3 per and the Bears can bring in a tough RB through the draft for less then that who could be just as effective. Unless he's dirt cheap, I'll pass. I think a team like NE will sign him. I do respect everything he's done in the NFL and I wish him the best.
  13. I'm sure they'll get it over it with a Super Bowl win.
  14. There's no way we'll sign Gross. He's going to get a big-time extension and they'll franchise Peppers then trade him.
  15. I want Mark Tauscher. He was a damn good RT but he tore his ACL this past year and so he might come cheap. He was in a ZBS in GB but I don't think adjusting would be too tough.
  16. David Haugh thinks we should give it a whirl. What do you guys think? If it was Urlacher and one 3rd, I might consider it. Sure, Urlacher is still the face of the franchise and captain of the defense, but he has maybe 4 good years left in him while Boldin is right in his prime.
  17. We need him so we can have the Tulane QB-RB combo.
  18. I remember they brought in Mendenhall, Forte, Otah, Flacco, Williams, Albert, and Clady- I'm not sure if that's it but I could have sworn we brought in those guys.
  19. Huff is a guy with tons of potential but he never made it with the Raiders. I'd be all for bringing him in on a 1 year deal worth around $3 million if it meant being a back-up or a starter if Manning goes down or plays poorly. Atogwe is a good player but he tends to take terrible angles and he misses alot of tackles.
  20. I agree. However, I still think it'll be Leftwich. He loves Lovie and he's got a good arm when healthy.
  21. God Bless Mike. Hopefully he's back on the sideline in 3 years or so coaching, whether it's with us or somebody else.
  22. Last time I did that, somebody complained that it's too boring and hard to follow with trades.
