  1. Should they be? Yes. Will they? Doubtful. I made a quick change in the 3rd.

    Mock

Just wanted to see what your thoughts were on my newest mock draft. Trade down in the 1st, pick up a 3rd and a 5th. 1. Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee ---Before the Senior Bowl, his toughness and ability to get the QB were questioned and he was a 3rd rounder. He had a great week of practices and a great Senior Bowl. He's a late 1st-early 2nd guy now. 2. Kenny Britt, WR, Rutgers ---All is quiet on the Kenny Britt front. He'll probably run a measly 4.6 40 at the combine which hopefully will help him fall here. 3. 3. Fenuki Tupou, RT, Oregon ---He's a good pass AND run blocker. He can play RT or LT. It's about time we added an islander. 3. Jairus Byrd, CB, Oregon ---If we cut Vasher, we still have an injury ridiculed CB, a solid CB, and another injury ridiculed CB. This position needs to be addressed, and Byrd is 6'0 210 which is big for a CB. He's a perfect Tampa-2 CB, too. 3. David Bruton, FS, Notre Dame ---A pretty big FS at 6'2 215. His only deal is he only has average speed. A pretty good value pick here. 4. Matt Slauson, RG, Nebraska ---He filled in and helped Marlon Lucky to good things this past year at Nebraska. He's a nasty son of a b**ch. 5. Myron Pryor, DT, Kentucky ---He's got great size and speed to get to the QB, but his only problem is run stopping, which is where Harrison comes into play. 5. Rhett Bomar, QB, Sam Houston State ---We need a QB in this draft somewhere, and Harrell and Daniel have no size or skill to play in the NFL. At least Bomar does...sort of. 6. Quinn Johnson, FB, LSU ---McKie sucks. Johnson is mean and nasty, and his biggest weakness was his catching ability. The first 2 throws of the Senior Bowl were to him, and he caught them both. 7. Russell Allen, OLB, San Diego State ---I don't know much about this guy. We need an OLB somewhere here (unless we sign Suggs which won't happen).
  3. No, you're wrong. If you've ever watched a Raiders game (it's not pretty so don't), he gets thrown to, at the most, 3 times a game. He held Andre Johnson to 2 catches for 19 yards and Steve Smith to 1 catch for 9 yards. I think that says it all.
  4. He'll be franchised, and then we'd have to give up a 1st and a 3rd for him. If he's not franchised, Davis will finally give him a 6-8 year deal.
  5. Again, I'd love to have Vontae Davis with our 1st rounder. I don't feel comfortable going into next season with Bowman and Graham as our starting CB's, if we do move Tillman to FS. Victor Harris is my 2nd choice.
  6. I just noticed that the thread title is a bit messed up. Can somebody change "liking" to "likely"?
  7. I don't know what that has to do with what I said but whatever.
  8. When did I say he will be?
  9. Actually, Johnson is a good middle of the field WR as well a down the field WR. Sure, Houshmanzadeh had a good year with a bad QB, but it's pretty tough to have a good season with a bad QB, just ask the Bears WR's for every year except for 2 years in the past 15 years. Johnson isn't even a bad person. Sure, he talks a lot, but sometimes that's good. Do you want the same old group of f***ing robots that we had last year? This is why I want Kenny Britt- he's good and he talks some smack. I would definitley trade our 2nd for him.
  10. Warner is a FA after the year, so yeah, if they win the Super Bowl he might just call it a career, so yeah, he might be gone.
  11. The Steelers, Ravens, and Falcons all are running teams too and they have good WR's.
  12. James, Boldin, Berry, and Warner all may not be back next year, and they just aren't very good on the road. I'll take my chances with the Cardinals coming here in what could be snow, rain, wind, and/or cold.
  13. Well, I wouldn't say that. Before all this came out on how bad he was, many, including myself, figured he'd be successful in a place where they constantly run the ball. Now, I don't know why any team would want him.
  14. Herman Johnson sucks. Like I said in the simulator thread, he'll be lucky to go in the 4th. Tuesday's practice: Wednesday's practice: Both from FF.com. I'll take my chances with a guy like Andy LeVitre (Oregon State), Trevor Canfield (Cincinnati), or Anthony Parker (Tennessee) as OG's in the 3rd.
  15. Herman Johnson has the slowest feet in the world. Right now, Kraig Urbik will be the 2nd OG taken, while Johnson will be lucky to be taken in the 4th.
  16. He's mobile, has arm strength, makes good decisions, and he's accurate.
  17. Cardinals=W Rams=W Eagles=L Browns=W Steelers =L Packers=W Vikings =W Lions=W Falcons=L Bengals=W Ravens=L Seahawks=L 49ers=W Lions=W Vikings=L Packers=L 9-7
  18. Choice #1- Steve Smith after 2 seasons. Choice #2- Devin Hester after 2 seasons. Thoughts?
  19. Not at 18, though. He'll likely be there at 25 or so, so I'd rather trade down and pick up a 3rd and 5th along with that 1st. Or, trade out of the first with a team who has an early 2nd so we can take Britt there, possibly. I wouldn't mind Vontae Davis at 18, though.
  20. It says "who would you rather after 2 years?" 2, not 1, so it can't be Jackson. Choice #1 is 29. Choice #2 is 26. No, those aren't the two. I'll let you guys know tomorrow.
  21. If you post on or view the boards at FF, then don't answer say who these 2 are- I sort of stole the idea from there. Which would you rather have after 2 years, and why? I'll tell you who they are in 2-3 days or so.
  22. He was a very good RT until they brought in Otah. He was then moved back to LT.
  23. You're referring to OT's, though. This guy is a RT, and like it said, at that position it's hard to find tons of talent. Carey is easily one of the top 5 RT's in football. If Gross wasn't a RT and/or wasn't a FA this offseason, Carey would definitley get the money Gross will get.
