  1. Cassel is what he is because he has Moss, Welker, and plenty of other guys. Give Orton Moss and Welker, and he's Cassel. McNabb is going to get a new deal and came on strong late in the season to yet again win back the faith of Philly fans and their organization. There is no way he is playing for a team next year that has something other then 2 wings on a green helmet.
  2. To say this loss is embarrassing is ridiculous, period. So going 3-1 in our final 4 is embarrassing. LOL. And don't act like we played like absolute s**t today- we lost to a great offense in their place.
  3. We already have Hillenmeyer and Williams backing up Roach so we don't need Follett. Willy is a 4th or 5th rounder, by the way. Plus, I think we'll be picking 18, not 16.
  4. The only 3 guys on that team that I like are Ware, Barber, and Romo.
  5. Thank you. Everyone should ponder my post.
  6. Totally agree. I hate when, after a loss, the next day people are talking s**t, making excuses, and wearing Bears stuff. We lost, morons. We'll be back next year. Despite a huge draft or free agency for Green Bay or Minnesota, I like our chances next season. It starts with the draft. Get an OG, RT, WR, and DE with our first 4 picks, sign Houshmanzadeh, fire Babich, then hire Marinelli.
  7. Agreed. I'd love to see us draft Drew Willy in the 4th round. He's from Buffalo but he's 6'3 220 with a rocket arm and pretty good accuracy. ^^^^^^^^
  8. If going 9-7, winning 3 of our last 4 to stay alive for the playoffs, and finally knowing we'll have a good RB for a long time for the first time in forever is embarrassing, then I can't imagine the word you would use to describe the Lions if you were a fan? That's embarrassing. This is disappointing.
  9. Do you think they'll take pay-cuts? No. Me neither. Therefore, you're suggesting we just cut them all then, right? Great idea. There is no way we get rid of Urlacher. It would be like Ray Lewis leaving Baltimore after the year? Not going to happen. Dvoracek? Come on. He isn't very good but I wouldn't mind him on the team as long as he's seeing the field sparingly. Harris? Come on, you think his selfish ass will take a cut? He came on pretty strong at the end of the year, IMO. Vasher blows- I agree on that one. Like Connor said, Anderson isn't making any money anyways. Jones- yeah maybe, but he wasn't 100% this year and I don't mind AP. Booker- agree. Kreutz- he wasn't himself this year but you don't cut him. Period. Garza- depending on what we do in FA and through the draft, he might get cut, but if we only draft 1 OG, there's no way he isn't on the team next year.
  10. Adios. Don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.
  11. So you want to trade or cut Jones, Urlacher, Harris, Anderson, Vasher, Kreutz, Garza, Booker, and Dvoracek? Are you planning on having a team next year? Or are we coming back in 2010 with a new team and new city?
  12. Well, Oakland is still up. We have to get this, score, go to OT, score, then hope Philly wins. Highly doubtful.
  13. Corey Graham has had 3 good games. Today, he can't guard a TE. Tillman would be a #1 or #2 CB on any other team in football, and look how good he was when our DL got pressure. I never said Graham wasn't good. The only thing he might have on Tillman is ability to cover, but really, would this game be any different if Graham had been on Johnson from the start? NO. Tillman is a much better tackler and stripper (didn't mean to sound like Madden there).
  14. Oakland winning. Giants winning. Bears losing. Unbelievable.
  15. Blame 2 things: 1. The DL. It's no wonder Rivera looked so great- the DL was getting pressure on the QB which made things easier on the secondary. The secondary was going up against bad throws due to monster hits. 2. Babich. The players are being told to play like this. It's called the scheme- let them catch it then go for the strip. Figure it out- it really shouldn't be this hard, man.
  16. Agreed. Steltz won't get it done and just doesn't have good enough speed...yet. Until then, we must address the FS position in the first 3 rounds of the draft.
  17. Get a clue. It's the cover-2. You still don't know that Tillman stays to pick up a pass in the flat or a screen and it's the safety's job to get the WR deep? My lord. That was all on Manning. He's playing an absolute s**t game so far.
  18. Manning to only play a half, and Jacobs is inactive. Thoughts?
  19. I'll take my chances with Atlanta, Tampa, or Dallas. We could have beat Tampa earlier this year, and now (like you said), they're struggling. Dallas just isn't very good period, and we could have beat Atlanta in their place which is a very tough place to play. At the time we played Atlanta, no team had scored on them in the 1st quarter, and neither did we. Turns out- had we even got the slimmest amount of points (a safety), it would have went to OT.
  20. Honestly, with Brown out, I can't see us winning this game. I'm going to stand by my prediction in the opener of the thread just because (as SoxFan1 says) it's been good mojo, but I think we'll lose something like 35-21 now. The key is Andre Johnson. David Haugh was on ESPN1000 here today and said a stat that when Johnson catches 10 or more balls, they're 6-2, but when he catches 9 or less, they're 2-5.
  21. Andre Johnson is going to eat us alive Sunday. Hopefully, it doesn't cost us the game.
