  1. Didn't AP get 1 carry for 7 yards? You're complaining? LOL
  2. For somebody who nobody likes around here to make a request to a one of the more likeable posters here because they don't "like" something that guy is doing is ridiculous.
  3. No, but when you have a stud RB with a questionable future at QB, you better surround that RB with great OL talent, and like I've said numerous times, Robinson is the best OG to come out of school in a long, long time. Obviously. If not, it'd look something like this: 1. Robinson 2. Jackson 3. Chung 3. Patrick Turner, WR, USC (big tall possession guy with soft hands) 4. Xavier Fulton, OT, Illinois 5. Willy
  4. Trade our 2010 1st rounder and our 2009 4th rounder to Arizona for Anquan Boldin. We, then, give him a 5 year, $52 million deal. 1. Duke Robinson, OG, Oklahoma 2. Tyson Jackson, DE, LSU 3. Sam Young, OT, Notre Dame 3. (Comp. for Berrian) Patrick Chung, SS, Oregon 5. Drew Willy, QB, Buffalo Thoughts?
  5. Then I don't want him. IMO, I'd prefer we give up a 4th this year and our 1st next year. We have 3 big needs (DE, S, OG) and to give up our 1st on a potential stud, like a Duke Robinson.
  6. Well, blame yourself. While we did barely win AT HOME against the Lions, we crushed the Rams AWAY, which is a very similar team to the Jaguars.
  7. I'd rather give up a 3rd this year and a 2nd next year for Boldin. This year, we have too many weaknesses to be trading a 2nd rounder. Plus, we'll probably get another 3rd anyway thanks to Berrian.
  8. That was why we almost lost to Detroit, wasn't it? Okay then.
  9. That's because your husband was in for a little bit more then half the game.
  10. Right, but right now, the Jaguars aren't much better then St. Louis, and we absolutely dominated the Rams. We were able to stop their RB and knock the hell out of their QB (literally, Bulger left with a head injury and Green threw 4 INT's). Last year, the Jaguars ended 15th against the pass and 11th against the run. So this year, they're 2 spots better against the pass (but that was with their best CB, they won't have him Sunday or the remaining part of the year), but 9 spots worse against the run. Also, last year, they were the 2nd ranked rushing offense and the 17th ranked passing offense. While they've maintained the 17th spot passing the ball this season, they're 17th in rushing this year. That's sinking 15 spots. To put more emphasis on how terrible their OL is this year, last year David Garrard was sacked 21 times. In 4 less games so far this year, he's already been sacked 33 times. It's sad when Fred Taylor, a guy who's been around for a decade+a year, says that this is the worst team he's ever played on. Like I said in another thread, I'd be shocked if Jacksonville scores double digits. #1 bolded point- Jacksonville is awful. #2 bolded point- They are not similar to us. They are significantly worse then us.
  11. The Jags are 13th against the pass (but Rasheen Mathis, their best CB, is now out) and 20th against the run. They are a heavily penalized and sacked team. You guys are nuts if you think the Bears won't score, or won't score 20+ points.
  12. Orton 16-27, 164 yards, 1 TD Forte 24 rushes, 131 yards, 1 TD, 4 catches, 33 yards Davis- 4 catches, 45 yards Olsen- 4 catches, 47 yards, 1 TD Defense- 5 sacks, 3 INT, 1 TD Gould- 1/2 on FG Bears 24-9
  13. Like Danny Mac said in the article posted on here, this team is awful. Their OL is currently at the same skill level as the Rams was and the Jagoffs shouldn't score double digits on us. And yes, I know JAX played in NE and PIT in the playoffs last year, but I still think the predicted wind chill of 13 (weather.com) on Sunday favors us.
  14. Jorvorskie Lane (Texas A&M) is probably the best, Eric Kettani (Navy), Conredge Collins (Pittsburgh), Stanley Havili (USC- note: he's more of a "get handoffs and receptions" FB, he could be an NFL RB), and Brannan Southerland (Georgia) who might be the 2nd best.
  15. But how do you know? That isn't a smarta** question, I'm just curious because how do we know what standards were set?
  16. Fine by me. Also, Grant and Smith will be out when we play New Orleans and they have 6 sacks between the 2. They aren't having a great season, either of the 2, but they have so much potential and any game they can get 2 or 3 sacks each.
  17. The Chiefs have 6 or so sacks on the year. I think Orakpo will go to them, and if not, Houston, Green Bay, and San Diego could all use a DE. I wouldn't mind Michael Johnson at 12. Also, 12 could mean we could still be in contention for Mays unless Al Davis goes "Fastest Player Available" like the prick always does and we miss out on him.
  18. Does anybody know: 1. What the highest pick we can get? 2. What are the boundaries for him in terms of what range of yards/touchdowns/catches he has to get and what pick we get for that?
  19. Amen. I'm not sure- to me, Williams seems like a bust. He's very athletic but I'm not sure- he looks like he's gentle almost, like a big teddy bear. He has injury problems. In my mind, we must draft an OG in the first 2 rounds and an OT in the first 4.
  20. Everyone- Watch the Big12 title game Saturday. Check out #72 (Robinson) for OU. You'll like what you see throughout the game.
  21. Harrison has been arguably our best DT this year, Steltz has been solid on ST and he was good when he filled in vs Detroit, and Bowman was very good against Minnesota earlier this year. Figure it out.
  22. I honestly can't type the great things I have to say about Mays. He is similar to Urlacher as Mays isn't a great fundamental S and Urlacher isn't a great fundamental LB, but both guys are super quick and both can hit hard.
  23. Yeah, the Rex pick sucked, too.
