  1. I'd love Housh. I've always sort have cheered for Cincy, and of all the games I've seen, he has a pair of the softest hands in football. Then again, he'll be 30 or 31 next year but I'd give him 5 years at the most for about 9-10 per year.
  2. He blames everything wrong with Hester on the coaching staff. He said you don't take the best weapon ever and try to turn him into something he's not which will obviously make him not so much of a great weapon anymore. He said then said something that I really have never thought about- it went like this: "You guys want a #1 receiver? THEN GO OUT AND SIGN ONE!!!!!!" Thoughts?
  3. I'll just say 1 thing- I think JA will trade down like he does. We have plenty of holes to fill (S, DE, OG, OT, LB, FB, maybe a WR) with not enough picks. Then, I think we'll see him go DE and S in the 2nd, and OG, LB, and best athlete there in the 3rd. This, however, means, in my view, that the OG might be just a so-so prospect, like Trevor Canfield, out of Cincinnati. I watched Cincinnati on ESPN the other night and I didn't see him, whether it was because of injury or performance. I'm not sure. I'd love to see him go after Taylor Mays in the 1st because he's a favorite of mine, and he might if he's on the board, but we have to build a good OL for Forte to run behind. He has almost 1100 total yards behind a solid OG, a medicore OG, a good OT, a solid OT, and an aging OC. So maybe something like: 1. Mays 2. English, DE, Oklahoma 3. Canfield, OG, Cincinnati 3 (C4B). Beckwith, LB, LSU 4. Connor Barwin, DE, Cincinnati Or. 2. English, DE, Oklahoma 2. Chung, S, Oregon 3. Canfield, OG, Cincinnati 3. Beckwith, LB, LSU 3. Fenuki Tupou, OT, Oregon 4. Dorell Scott, DT, Clemson Something like that.
  4. Just said on SportsCenter. This is terrible. The guy doesn't deserve to be in the league. I love Goodell but this move sucks.
  5. Orton 18-30, 243 yards, 2 TD's Forte 23 carries, 111 yards, 1 TD's, 3 catches, 35 yards, 1 TD Gould- 1/1 on FG Hester- Finally gets a PR for a TD Bears 31-27
  6. The Bills are struggling to their QB, IMO. Edwards was good but he's struggling. He's only started 19 games so it's understandable. Jauron is an awful coach. He's only had 2 seasons of over .500 in 9 years of coaching.
  7. Then again, if we do end up dropping greatly, like to 6 or 7 wins, that could get us the 10th-12th pick, which may be good enough for Taylor Mays, the FS from USC. He is a big hitter who runs a 4.35 40 at 6'3 and 230. While he doesn't make tons of plays, he has a knack for the BIG (and as a USC fan, I have the pleasure of watching him every week) hit which jaws tons of balls loose, and he is the best cover safety in the nation. With the way JA tens to go BPA, if Mays was on the board for us, I could definitley see him falling in love with Taylor, and I would LOVE the pick.
  8. That. But St. Louis is a fun city. Enjoy.
  9. Lee Evans got a 4 year, $40 million extension in week 6 or so. Peppers still is, however. My dream would be to go after Asomugha, move Tillman to safety, sign Housh, then draft the best DE, but that would be like $20 million between Housh and Asomugha, so that won't happen. In the end, I think we'll go after Housh, Seth McKinney (29 year old OG for Cleveland who will be a UFA and will be cheaper [hopefully]), then draft a DE (Everette Brown [FSU], Greg Hardy [Ole Miss], Tyson Jackson [LSU]) in the 1st and then a S (Myron Rolle [FSU], Patrick Chung [Oregon], Emanuel Cook [south Carolina]) in the 2nd. In the end: Sign Housh- 5 years, $52 million Draft- Trade 1st to Philly so they can move up for 2nd and 3rd. 2. Herman Johnson, OG, LSU 2. Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee 3. Larry Beckwith, LB, LSU 3. Chris Clemons, S, Clemson 3 (C4B). Fili Moala, DE/DT, USC 4. Andrew Gardner, OT, Georgia Tech 5. Mohammad Massaquoi, WR, Georgia
  10. yahoo.com Please give the Williams's 2-3 games. With Forte and Jones-Drew the next 2 weeks, we could benefit big time.
  11. Connor: That's awesome you get to go to the game. It was either going to Indy or St. Louis and I chose Indy, which was great. Have a good time. But yeah, a team with this many injuries- we must take advantage. Incognito isn't very good anyways, so his back-up must be awful. Pace is good but not his old self, and Jackson has been like Grant this year as in he has so much potential but got paid and seems like he doesn't give a sh*t out there.
  12. Besides Grossman or Briggs, do you honestly like anybody in this organization?
  13. How do you know how cold Hanie was compared to Rex? Wow.
  14. Well, that is all true. However, #1 there won't be 2 other star QB's in this draft like there was with Leinart (Cutler and Young). Bradford will probably stay as he's still raw, and that's about it for great QB's. Secondly, I'd rather take an LB, DE, S, DT, CB, hell even a WR before a QB, and you can't really argue that we have too many needs to go QB in the 1st.
  15. Would you shut up? We'll probably finish with 6-8 wins, and Stafford is a top 5 pick. 6-8 wins gets us the 10th or so pick.
  16. The trade deadline is over, but you're right, he'd be a monster in the 3-4. San Diego could have used him in Merriman's spot when he went down. Imagine Anderson closing in on you from the edge...
  17. Draft Duke Robinson in April and say Adios.
  18. Okay so I don't mean to sound like Bears88, but why are we starting threads about Hester's and Harris' contracts? You really think we're going to cut these guys? I wanted to trade Hester this past offseason, started a thread on here about it, and was ripped to threads. Go figure.
  19. Okay that's a good post and the Leslie Frazier thing was funny, but Jacksonville has been brutal this year, obviously St. Louis has too, and Minnesota isn't all that either. Then again, playing there on Sunday Night doesn't help.
  20. I'll post what I think we have to do this offseason. Many of you will think I'm nuts due to that I have us signing a big-time FA...
  21. From wiki. Steve Julio Spagnuolo[1](born December 21, 1959 in Whitinsville, Massachusetts) is the current defensive coordinator for the New York Giants He was named coordinator January 2007, following 8 years under defensive coordinator Jim Johnson's Philadelphia Eagles staff. After his Super Bowl XLII victory Spagnuolo was considered for the head coach of the Washington Redskins but remained with the Giants with a 3 year contract of more than $2 million a year.
  22. Didn't Spagnuolo just get a huge deal just to stay the DC of the Giants?
  23. We need to spend money this offseason, by trades and by free agency. We need a #1 WR, we need a fierce OG (Faneca, no because JA is too cheap), we need a new head coach, and we need to draft 2 DE's in the 1st 4 rounds.
  24. Gould St. Clair Briggs Forte Olsen Payne That's it.
