Rex played well in St. Louis in 2006 against a team that was significantly better then this year's Rams.
-
3-4 weeks? Not bad. Everyone's body heals differently. Maybe we'll get lucky and Orton will be feeling ready to go @ St. Louis.
-
If the injury for Mike Brown is some small, insignificant injury, then I'll consider him a pu**y. Jumping on him yesterday after the game was just me being all caught up in the moment. Apologies..
-
If the game is still within grasp, I hope not.

Rex deserves to get ripped. If he was 6'3, he'd be a very good QB. But, he isn't. On that note, I'd love to see Rex come out and play good enough (17-29, 200 yards, 1 TD, maybe even an INT) in the time Orton is out. Mortenson is now saying he could miss 2-4 weeks, so he may be back for the STL or MIN game. I saw nothing wrong with the spiking. He was pumped. Good for him. Then again, if our OL isn't making holes, expect Rex to struggle, just like Orton would if he would play vs the Titans. If we can't run, Vanden Bosch and Haynesworth would be all over our QB, don't matter who it was. That, or Forte has to find holes. He needs to hit the tiny holes, and fall forward. Every yard will be valuable. Also, we need to get him the ball on some screens and other little 5 yard passes over the middle of the field or something. Rex's strong point isn't 25 yard slants over the middle of the field, and it's just that simple. We have to play a 2005-esque game on Sunday to win. With that said, the defense needs to step up (or Babich does, one of the 2). Babich needs to send a LB or S some of the time to knock Collins on his a** way more then what we did to Orlovsky.

I think Matt is the type of RB who just wants to win, whether he gets the TD or not.
-
Harrison and Dvoracek have played well this year. Like I've said a million times on this board, tackles for a DT is overrated. The object for a DT is to force an up-the-middle run to the outside.
-
Totally forgot about that, considering I think I posted that thread on here when it happened. It happened in like February, or something.
-
You say that like Orton throws a sh***y deep ball. I've watched every game and Orton's deep balls have been fine. As a matter of fact, he doesn't even have to throw them anymore as the 20 yard slants are open all the time.

I don't know who to believe.

1. In the offseason, I think we'll let Clark walk, re-sign Rex (2 years, 4 million), let Booker walk, re-sign Lloyd (2 years, $6 million), and I think we'll release Hillenmeyer. 2. Then, I think we'll sign TJ Houshmandzadeh to a contract worth around $8 a year for 4 years. We need a #1 and I'm not sure who else we can cut or not re-sign other than Booker. I don't see us letting Lloyd walk away. 3. Then, I'll think we'll deal our late-teens pick to a team like Tennessee who wants to move up for a guy like Maclin or Heyward-Bey and get their 1st and their 3rd. 1. Herman Johnson, OG, LSU 2. Greg Middleton, DE, Indiana 3. Xavier Fulton, OT, Illinois 3. Antoine Caldwell, C, Arkansas 3 (C4B). Derek Pegues, S, Mississippi State 4. Stanley Havili, FB, USC

Who gives a sh*t?

Michael Smith says it'll be a month with a high ankle sprain.
-
That's the point I've been attempting to drive through his thick skull since day #1. It hasn't helped.
-
True. Probably just ESPN being ESPN- false reports. I take SN's word over ESPN's, now.
-
Not sure. He was like "And he...is...out...a...month". So, I don't know.
-
Was just watching ESPNews and they said it. Fasten your seatbelts.
-
They do, but nobody sees Garza's blocking unless you're a true fan. Forte doesn't do as well without him, so I was giving love to Roberto. And, Urlacher wasn't doing that in an attempt to stop us from booing. I'm fairly positive he was doing it because he didn't like the booing.
-
He had a QB rating of 49. Yeah, he was great. We're on Orton's nuts like he's a legend? You're on Rex's nuts and he's awful. Get a clue.

This is the way I saw it, being there live. 1. Mike Brown- go away, pu$$y. You're done, don't matter how much any of us like to hear that. 2. Steltz played well coming off the bench. He was all over the field. 3. I hope that rumor is the truth, because I'm not sure how much faith I have in Rex. No offense, 88, I'm just saying. 4. Calvin Johnson is a G. The guy is a beast and is going to be a pain in our royal a$$es for years to come. 5. The field was our MVP today- had Hanson not slipped on the XP, we would have went to OT. 6. However ugly it was or wasn't, this isn't the BCS. A win is a win. We won't have to play a better team in the playoffs because we barely beat Detroit. 7. Forte is also a G. He carried our offense in the 2nd half, single handedly. 8. Garza played his best game- Forte was getting tons of holes when Turner ordered Garza to the outside for a block. 9. Urlacher is a jacka**. When the crowd was booing, and rightfully so, Urlacher kept doing the "get louder" motion with his arms. Enough, we had a right. Earn your money, jerk off (luckily, he did in the 2nd half).

I was reading this in the paper during work today. I love this and I think the kid has a bright future. Hopefully we get up big tomorrow and we can see what CW can do! -
I'll also be there. 41-13 Bears.
