  1. I'm guessing Lovie said something along the lines of "it's just a little twist we like to throw in there, it's not something that can be effective if you use it more often"? Well, he's full of it. We need to use that more.
  2. We HAVE GOT TO BE 4-2 after the Lions and Falcons. The Vikings aren't very good and that could mean 5-2 heading into our bye.
  3. Lost in all of this- the huge punt by Maynard at the end of the game.
  4. He's the same back as Earnest Graham with a bit more speed and we ate him for lunch.
  5. And I was criticized when I said we'd win. Pshhh...
  6. Everyone was on their nuts for being 2-1- who gives a sh*t? They beat the frigging Chiefs and Lions. If we can't beat them in 2 weeks, we don't deserve to compete in the NFL as we should kill Detroit next week. If there's ANY way we can win tonight, we could be 4-2 after week 6...
  7. For how good he's supposed to be, yes, he's been terrible. Anyways, here are my stat line predictions: Orton 13/25, 176 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT Forte 23 carries, 87 yards, 7 catches, 44 yards, 1 total TD OL- gives up 5 sacks Eagles 31-17
  8. Alex Brown has 6 tackles and 2 sacks. He hasn't exactly been good. Although, I guess he is on pace for around 10 sacks, but I doubt he even hits 7.
  9. Give me 1 reason to praise their play this year. Plus, every guy sucks except Grossman to you anyways.
  10. I've been saying this for awhile- if he isn't 100%, I'm glad he's sitting out. Let him get 100% in time for the Falcons.
  11. We had a guy named Cedric Benson? Oh yeah, that's right, I almost forgot about him just after 3 weeks of watching our stud RB...
  12. He's playing at 80%. I'd rather just sit him out a week.
  13. Urlacher, Mike Brown, Alex Brown, and Nate Vasher- I'm calling you out. Play like you're worth the money you're making, a**holes.
  14. James Laurenitis is so over-rated it's to the point where he sucks. He's soft as hell, and I don't want a soft LB. I'd take Maualuga.
  15. With Orton 4. With Rex, 13. But seriously, I think we'll end with 6, beating Detroit twice, Atlanta, St. Louis, and Houston.
  16. But then there's drafts like 2006 (Hester, Manning, Dvoracek, Anderson), 2004 (Vasher, Tank, Tommie, Berrian), and 2003 (Briggs, Grossman, Tillman) that make you forget about 2005. Not every GM has a good draft every time.
  17. "Can't tell you what went wrong just yet, we'll go over the film tomorrow and go from there".
  18. Good draft, especially the Moore pick. The guy is so quick and elusive. However, I don't see the staff giving up on Wolfe just yet.
  19. I think we're going to win Sunday too, and I'm not exactly Mr. Optimism. I think we'll take advantage of Westbrook being out, I think we'll get 4+ sacks on McNabb, and I think our pass D is going to be 3x better then it was against the Bucs. Again, who knows what is going through Turner's mind, but I think we will run some draws which will eventually make the DEs think a bit more about whether they want to go after Forte or Orton, which could set up some PA draws or just regular PA passes.
  20. Brown is a good LB- I just think he'll fall a bit. Urlacher's done in 2012 or 2013, so we have time. The last thing we want to do is to be drafting one every year.
  21. My AFTER WEEK 3 mock: Trade our top 8 pick for a team's 2nd, 3rd, and 3rd next year. Then we trade that 2nd round pick we got and that 3rd next year to Jacksonville for their 21st pick to move up 23 spots. 1. Mark Sanchez, QB, USC (I see no weaknesses in him...yet) 2. Patrick Chung, S, Oregon (just a stud safety- I think JA reaches on him here) 3. Xavier Fulton, OT, Illinois (I think we'll move him from OT to OG) 3. Larry English, DE, Northern Illinois (the MAC DPOY last year [i believe] and IMO we need a young DE) 4. James Meredith, OT, Mississippi (solid OT to go with CW as Tait is aging and St. Clair just isn't very good) 4. COMP FOR BERRIAN- Louis Murphy, WR, Florida (tall WR, reminds me of Berrian- very fast) 5. Cody Brown, LB, Connecticut (stocky LB, and for that I think he falls- takes over after Briggs is done, until then is a ST player)
  22. Yeah, but in the 4th round. Before the draft, Lovie kept saying how they felt satisfied at the position. I think Steltz is just insurance to an already deep position for us- I don't see us drafting one this year in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd unless some stud falls to us (Chung, etc).
