  1. Yeah, and it's team first. In this situation, you get your a** to the sideline, and let the refs sort it out. Plus, if we let the refs get there and break it up, maybe they give the Bucs a 15 yard penalty. I can't even believe Tommie said after the game that he supports what Tillman did.
  2. No, the pass to Clark after Briggs picked off Griese. It was 3rd down, and on a slant, Clark dropped it. If he catches it, we score or we're at the 1.
  3. Nor can they start. Honestly, this was like the 2006 game vs TB here. TB rallied in the end in that game, forced it to OT, except Rashied Davis made that catch, and Gould hit the FG. If Davis makes that catch, Gould probably makes the FG and we get a win.
  4. If Rex throws that pass to Clark, he catches it and it's 6.
  5. What does it matter? It was called a penalty.
  6. Right, so Rex played bad last year because the defense, another phase of football, was banged up and we didn't have Forte. Right. Bring him back today, and we probably finish 14-2 and win it all. Look, both guys aren't the answer. But to think we win today with Rex, or we'd be 3-0 with Rex, is such a joke, it's ridiculous. I've said it before and I'll say it again- if we are going to suck, I hope we suck enough to get a top 7 pick. I want a franchise QB.
  7. It's an ankle. No word on the severity. I don't wish injuries upon anybody, but to have him out next Sunday would be a HUGE boost.
  8. This has nothing to do with anything. You said that Rex is better because last year he had AP and not Forte. Well, I don't remember Rex ever trying to hit AP on a screen, or down the field. Do you? No. So, don't blame Orton for utilizing his RB. Rex could have had less TOs and less tipped passes had he just threw it to his RB out of the backfield. It's not like Forte is LT catching the ball and AP is Benson- both can catch it, Orton just realized it first.
  9. No, but Forte wasn't unbelieveable today rushing wise. Don't blame Orton for utilizing our RB out of the backfield. It's not like AP can't catch worth a s***.
  10. We went on a 5 minute drive from the end of the 3rd to the start of the 4th, Gould missed a FG, Tampa turned it over after a 1 minute drive, the Bears then went on a 4 minute drive and scored another TD. So after 8 minutes, after the math, of not being on the field, that's the excuse?
  11. 1. A new head coach 2. A franchise QB 3. Another solid WR 4. A new stud DT
  12. Why? We had just scored a TD, then another TD.
  13. Anderson sucks, Harris is still injured, and Urlacher had a neck/spine surgery over the offseason. Plus, this team is another year older. Isn't that a wash between Rex last year and Orton this year, in terms of a supporting cast?
  14. There are a few things. 1. Is Turner blind? How can you be absolutely inept in 1 half and be great in another? What, all of a sudden, clicked that Orton turned from...well, orton...to Dan Marino in a matter of time? Oh! I know! Nothing! We have to have more confidence in our QB. 2. This kind of goes back to #1, but how can you just totally forget that Lloyd leads the team in receptions, for him to get ZERO in the first half? Come on, man. Double move all day with this guy works, but Turner doesn't think so, apparently. 3. The defense always wants more time off the field and they want more breathing room. 10 point margain with 6 minutes left, then a 7 point margain with 2 minutes left isn't enough? Come on. Tommie Harris- if you really aren't 100%, get off the field. Tillman- if you want to go d*ck around, get off the field. Alex Brown and Mark Anderson- I could of sworn they didn't even play today. Absolutely nowhere to be seen. 4. Rashied Davis wants money, gets paid, then drops a wide open pass on 3rd and long in OT, that if caught, gets us to Tampa's 25, and has us sitting pretty at a W. But, no, the pu$$y drops it. Cry me a river. Positives: Forte- another game in the 140 TY territory, and he never stops going. Lloyd- this guy is our #1. End of story. Maynard- he finally woke his a** up today. Manning- Hester can take another week off if he wants. Oh, and Manning made 2 nice plays on D late in the game, too.
  15. On some deep throws, you have to under-throw them. CBs and Ss are usually the fastest guys on the field, and if you lead a WR, the DB will just get to the ball quicker.
  16. Regardless of the 2nd half, he sucked? You were b****ing on here for a week about whe he throws a TD and 200 yards, then you'll consider Orton being better. So, Orton throws 2 TDs, and 200+ yards, and he still sucks. And don't act like Rex has never gift-wrapped an INT, see last year vs Miami.
  17. My only concern- Ogunleye is getting up there in age, and Mark Anderson hasn't been much of anything since 2006.
  18. I'll update this every week. My Bears mock: **Trade our 1st to whatever team for their 2nd and a 3rd** 2. Herman Johnson, OG, LSU 2. Cullen Harper, QB, Clemson 3. Larry English, DE, Northern Illinois 3. Derek Pegues, S, Mississippi State 3. (COMP FOR BERRIAN) Max Unger, OT/C, Oregon 4. BJ Raji, DT, Boston College 5. Derrick Williams, WR, Penn State 6. Steve Rehring, OG, Ohio State 7. Worrell Williams, LB, California
  19. Painter > Daniel in terms of what they'll do in the pros. I'd take Nathan Brown over both of them- the only problem is: he's 6'2, 210 and he's from Central Arkansas. In all the mocks I look that, they have him anywhere from pick 22-35, so I doubt he falls into the 3rd, yet alone mid-2nd.
  20. Atleast 1 of our 4 seventh rounders will make some sort of impact this year/ever.
  21. Okay well I have a myspace, and I'm tired of having this same Hester one up here since 2006. So, if you guys can go here, then type in any name, scroll to "request design", then request a Forte layout. Switch it up occasionally- don't type in the same manner as you usually do: sometimes use all caps, sometimes type normal, and sometimes with all lower case with a bunch of !!!!!!!!!!!'s. Thanks for your help! 1 a day if you can sneak it in would be nice.
  22. ROTO says LaRocque was signed off the PS and will play on ST this week because "he is a force there". He is?
