  1. I think it's because many of us might be a bit worried. Carolina is an inconsistent team but coming off a "W" in San Diego means something. All I know is to be 2-0, then possibly 3-0 going into that SNF game vs Philadelphia, would be great. Today? Bears 20-10.
  2. Anyways, today they announced that Young may be suicidal. I hope he can figure it out in life, even if it's not on the field.
  3. What is your deal, dude? He's also better then your wife, Grossman.
  4. We might have planned on Barton passing through waivers, but JA had to know a team like Miami, Oakland, Kansas City, or St. Louis was going to pick up a young, good looking OT.
  5. I don't pay attention to this. Like I said in another thread, this Nurse Z d-bag picked us to be 2-14 in 2005. I try not to think highly of his rankings/articles/predictions, because he's a moron anyways. It feels good to jump 14 spots, but we don't need to worry about how highly this guy thinks of us.
  6. Stats predictions: Orton 15-26, 2 TDs, 1 INT. Forte 23 carries, 97 yards, 1 receiving TD. Jones 9 carries, 38 yards Hester 1 punt return TD, 1 receiving TD. Harrison, Anderson, and M. Brown with 1 sack each, and Tommie with 2. M. Brown with an INT, too.
  7. The new updated one, after week 1. Thoughts? Mine: I don't see how Atlanta can be the worst team. I know the good game was against a sh*tty Lions team, but Ryan showed promise and Turner was great. I don't get how after beating a good Colts team in Indy we will still have a top 8 pick, but okay. If we do, I'd rather go with Monroe (OT), Selvie (DE), or Smith (OT). I don't get how they think NE is going to win it all. Last thing- love that they have Tebow going to Minnesota.
  8. Suniva b****. Oh well, if we expect to win now, this is a good move as Barton wouldn't of seen the field this year. Best of luck to Kirk as he looked like a promising player.
  9. You pretty much just said that. How about- Alex Mack/C/Cal Kenny Britt/WR/Rutgers Kraig Urbik/OG/Wisconsin
  10. I could care less what this clown says. He's the same guy who picked us to be 2-14 in 2005.
  11. If the first game for Rodgers showed anything, I don't think he'll be a bad QB, so that's no argument there. And, Colston is out 4-6 weeks from this week, so he'll be back in week 6-8.
  12. Good to see you're satisfied with the our WRs then. The OL is questionable, but maybe they aren't as bad as we thought. Buenning is a young guy who could be a solid starter for awhile for us, Orton isn't medicore, and Lovie seems satisfied with the safeties and we also have a log-jam there (Brown, Steltz, Manning, Payne, McGowan). I'm not saying this is what I'd particularly want, but I wouldn't mind it. If we do have the 20th+ pick, I'd rather we traded it anyway unless a very good prospect falls to us (Olsen or Rodgers like). I wouldn't mind QB-OT-WR or OT-QB-WR either. Don't forget- if we do go out and grant my wish (sign Mark Tauscher), then we wouldn't even have to worry about drafting another OT and CW and Tauscher would be a potential pretty good starting-OT combination. Then maybe BPA-OG/C-S?
  13. He had an incredible game Sunday. Much deserved. WALE
  14. I knew I was forgetting something. Then why is Crabtree elgible? Isn't he currently a true sophomore? BTW- I'd loooove to be able to snag up Maclin. He's a stud- imagine him and Hester returning kicks. Not to mention he can catch it, too.
  15. To be 2-0 coming home would be special...
  16. There are 4 Sports Authorities that may have jerseys. They are on: North Clark, North LaSalle, and 2 on Fullerton.
  17. I'd prefer the white/white on the road, blue/white at home, and orange/white and blue/blue as alternates.
  18. No, it's not. We need to get a couple young WRs in here with potential. Bradley and Lloyd might be gone after this year, Booker is 78 years old, and Davis is will be 30 next year. Bennett is a start (possession WR), but add Benn (possession AND a deep threat with great size) to the mix, and we have a nice little combination of young WRs. 1. I don't see why not. He's currently a sophomore and he's a monster with great NFL size and hands. 2. Agreed. Kreutz is getting up there in age, and Luigs could play OG until Kreutz retires, then could take over at C.
  19. No, it's just the "not very good curse". The guy had plenty of questions coming out of Texas yet his performance in the Rose Bowl vs USC made Titans fans think that if they pass on Young, it'd be the dumbest move ever. Looks like Cutler will be the best of the 3 taken that year (Leinart and Young).
  20. It's an okay pick-up. If he can play well for us, he'll see the field. As soon as he goes back to the normal Fred Miller, I wouldn't be surprised if he was benched. I hope Barton clears waivers, too.
  21. 1. Aurelius Benn, WR, Illinois 2. Jonathan Luigs, C, Arkansas 3. Tyrone McKenzie, LB, USF
