  1. Maybe next year's 2nd and Mark Bradley? If the pieces in the trade were right, then I'd be all for it. Do I see it happening? No.
  2. A or B is Henne, E is Flacco. Not sure on the others...
  3. Let's draft another safety who can't cover, except this time, he's slower then any safety we got.
  4. How I'd like the draft to go: 1. Chris Williams, OT, Vanderbilt 2. Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware 3. Quinten Demps, S, UTEP 3. Trevor Laws, DT, Notre Dame 4. Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia 5. Owen Schmitt, FB, West Virginia 6. Drew Radovich, OG, USC 7. Maurice Purify, WR, Nebraska How I think it will go: 1. Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois 2. Carl Nicks, OT, Nebraska 3. Quinten Demps, S, UTEP 3. Trevor Laws, DT, Notre Dame 4. Josh Johnson, QB, San Diego 5. Owen Schmitt, FB, West Virginia 6. James McClinton, DT, Kansas 7. Kory Lichtensteiger, OG/C, Bowling Green So I don't think we trade down.
  5. Obviously score TD's, because he has the 2nd most ever in 1 season.
  6. Do we know how much we gave him yet?
  7. Connerbear and I have season tickets, do you think we enjoy what is going on here either? No Bear fan likes this. So what, you'll just go be a fan of another team just b/c our success level is going down the s*** tank? Be a fan. Like the Bulls motto 2-4 years ago- "Through thick and thin, through thick...and thin".
  8. I thought it was made official that the Bears notified Ruben telling him that he won't be brought back?
  9. I'm 29, so for that long I've been watching football. Urlacher is great, I definitley agree, but Mike Brown when healthy is the best safety in the NFL, better then Bob Sanders, or anyone else. Like BigDaddy said, he is an important part of our scheme, and he would have made our 2006 defense better then the 85 D. With Brown, we probably win the Super Bowl in 2006, too.
  10. Lloyd, McCariens, Booker, Hester, Bradley would be good, too, but now with the Lloyd signing, I doubt we snatch McCariens, unless it's a 1 year deal.
  11. I'll go with a healthy Mike Brown. This guy was probably the best defensive player I have ever seen, and it's a shame to see what has happened to him. If he had 1-2 years with his old, hard hitting, ball hawking self, the Bears may already have a ring, could have snuck in the playoffs last year, and could fill a big hole for this upcoming year's team which seems to have a hole at the safety position.
  12. If we hold off until the 4th or so to take a QB, and Josh Johnson and all them are gone and we take Woodson, I may puke. I'd almost rather have Colt Brennan.
  13. I think on rotoworld they said they either gain or take a cap hit of $4 million My guess- the odd man out is Alexander.
  14. Oh dear, we don't want that, do we?!!?!!!1!!?!!11
  15. As much as I hate to say it, it might be all-but-done that Mendenhall is ours at 14, unless of course CAR or DEN take him right before us. Remember, JA goes after BOP, not biggest need, which may lead to us drafting Mendenhall.
  16. Exactly! Let's just get a RB there so he can turn into Cedric Benson II!!
  17. Well if you're going to say that Favre's pill taking may have something to do with the record he broke, then you can say that for many others. I'm sure Cal Ripken took some, as well as tons of current NFL guys, and past NFL players, who broke records or are on pace to. He loves the game. His consistent smile, his desire, his passion, and the fun he has is un matched. If you honestly think he retired now, not because the love affair was over, but because he broke all the records that he wanted to break by staying around longer, then that's totally wrong and I'm sure you, and only a few others in this great nation of ours, are the only ones who think that. You can say favoritism for just about any star in any league, even the NHL. That's about all the comments I can make about your post. Oh, I almost forgot- there's an "E" at the end of his name, it's not just F-A-R-V, it's F-A-R-V-E.
  18. Not sure. They took the offer off the table about 4 or 5 days ago, and then Brendon said on CSN last night that he was going to call JA today to make sure he wasn't going to offer him a deal, so apparently JA told him "adios".
