  1. Updated: Trade our 1st and our 5th for a team's 2nd and 3rd. 1 (2nd round). Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware 2 (2nd round). Early Doucet, WR, LSU 3 (3rd round). Tony Hills, T, Texas 4 (3rd round). Roy Schuening, G, Oregon State 5 (3rd round). Jamar Adams, S, Michigan 6 (4th round). Kevin Smith, RB, Central Florida 7 (6th round). James McClinton, DT, Kansas 8 (7th round). Maurice Purify, WR, Nebraska
  2. I agree. I'd do a 4 year, $24 million contract, and then add a $10 million signing bonus or somethin'.

  4. Alright, I see now. So really, we can negotiate right now with BB?
  5. Am I missing something here? What's the rule on this FA stuff? Players can sign with their 2007-2008 teams before other teams can get a shot at them? Also, answer this one for me b/c I missed it in a previous thread- if we cut Moose, do we still have to pay him by buying him out, or what?
  6. I know you can't sign and trade, but there isn't a rule against trying to sign a guy, then a few days/weeks later, trading him.
  7. Yeah b/c without Hester, we wouldn't sell out every game or sell jerseys, hats, or shirts.
  8. I have a funny feeling that if you want Flacco with our 2nd round pick and a T with our first pick, then we won't get him. The only way we get Flacco is if we reach for him in round 1. I don't see a way he gets by Atlanta in round 2 (unless they take a QB with their first pick), KC in round 2, Oakland in round 2, Baltimore in round 2 (unless they take a QB with their first pick), or Carolina in the 2nd round
  9. I hate when people say that, b/c obviously it doesn't matter. You got a burner in Berrian and an absolute speedster in Hester and Turner threw a total of like 12 bombs this year, so he can blow that "I want speed WR's" statement out of his @$$.
  10. Here's my gut feeling- if we lose Berrian, we need to make a blockbuster trade for a WR. Otherwise, it'll be a 4-6 win season next year. But hey, at least if that happens we can get Jeremy Maclin with our high pick, who will be a sophmore WR for Missouri next year, or Michael Crabtree, an absolute stud, who will also be a sophmore, WR from Texas Tech. Of course, those guys have to declare first.
  11. Sign Rex, 2 weeks later put him in the deal. Is that not possible?
  12. Sorry I'm trying to think of ways to make this team a contender, jagbag. Fine. Since I haven't traded away our 6th and 7th, let me take back the 2nd/3rd trade idea for McNabb and say that we'll trade our 6th and 7th for McNabb. Yes, b/c that will definitley land him in Chicago.
  13. What's the rule on the cutting thing? If we cut Moose, do we still have to pay the remaining of his gazillion dollar contract? I like the Booker idea. I'd like a: Berrian Booker Hester (draftee) Bradley WR corps.
  14. Just reported on SC the Vikings, Bears, and Falcons (I think ATL was the 3rd team) all want McNabb. However, a journalist from Philly says they will keep him 1 more year. To make the Eagles change their mind, what would you give up for him? I'd sign and trade Rex and trade our 2nd and one of our 3rds.
  15. 28-27 NFC Hester- 4 returns, 151 yards
  16. Halftime: 27-21 AFC Hester- 3 returns, 111 yards.
  17. 27-14 AFC with 3:28 to go Hester has 2 returns, 91 yards.
  18. Not so much Brennan, but after watching the college skills stuff today, I want Flacco so bad. He threw 2 balls in the longest throw competition, and the first was 71 yards, and the 2nd was 72 yards. He also came in 2nd, I believe, in the accuracy competition. I think we should reach for him in round 1 if we know he won't be there in round 2.
  19. Bearsox and I don't think he's awesome, but we certainly don't think he is terrible/bad. We think that with an OL, he can be effective (see 2006)
