  1. He probably is. Supposedly, he's dumber than a box of rocks. Dane Brugler tweeted it the other day and that he has heard it on more than one occasion too.
  2. Then I take Eifert, Austin, Patterson, or Ogletree. If they're all gone, I trade down.
  3. I like Jasper Collins from Mount Union.
  4. I don't know how you characterize "ain't that good" but he's definitely in the top 20 of NFL guards. That would make him better than about 43 other guards.
  5. RT @MikeGarafolo: Meanwhile, Bears lurking w/ Kevin Boothe. RT @JasonColeYahoo: Musical chairs going on as Ten, Ind & Buf chase Gs Andy Levitre, Louis Vasquez
  6. You and I are all over this today, scs. I was just going to post this. I fully expect the Bears to look at a DT in round 4 or 5.
  7. Biggs just tweeted that its's at about $6.8m
  8. And then those hearts would've been quickly repaired had they gotten a 1st and a 3rd and taken Duane Brown and Jermichael Finley or Cliff Avril. Brown is arguably a top 3 LT and Finley and Avril are both guys who would help any team, one of which (Finley) has been linked to the Bears if he gets cut.
  9. Once 3:00 hits on Tuesday, the Bears will do their due dilligence. If there is a player they want for more than what they have, they'll likely then start restructuring/cutting. It's just a guess.
  10. I've brought him up as well as Kory Lichtensteiger and Ramon Foster. Last night, Sean Jensen reported they have interest in Foster. He's only 27 and might come cheaper than Thomas and obviously Levitre.
  11. Looks like I beat you to the punch by ONE minute Yes, Moore is good. It's too bad he's old.
  12. 1. Chance Warmack 2. Lane Johnson 3. Jonathan Cooper 4. Tyler Eifert 5. Cordarelle Patterson 6. Tavon Austin 7. Alec Ogletree 8. Xavier Rhodes 9. Sheldon Richardson
  13. He's 33 but he's good. Thoughts?
  14. Cutting Bush wouldn't help, I thought.
  15. Exactly. People want to make a lot about what he did for Brian de la Puente and Jermon Bushrod and to an extent Carl Nicks, but christ, how do we know those guys wouldn't have good elsewhere? It's not like Aaron Kromer is the only OC ever who coached an OL and 4th round-UDFA guys became good. Look at Seattle's OL- they have a guy from the 7th, 5th, 3rd, and 2nd (and a 1st). I bet if they had hired Tom Cable nobody here would be talking about him turning Webb into Jonathan Ogden.
  16. Albert is getting moved? Can you provide a link? Again, I don't know if this means anything but KC was losing A BUNCH last year. Is it possible that maybe 3 sacks for Winston and 1 for Albert is quite impressive seeing as if DE's/OLB's knew that the Chiefs had to do a lot of passing since they were ALWAYS losing by A BUNCH?
  17. And Kromer will fix 'em all anyway! I will say though that I've read he only wants to play in a ZBS and obviously that won't happen here.
  18. Kromer will fix Webb just like Tice was going to fix Webb. Stop. He is what he is. If they can figure out money for Long, do it. There will come a time when every WCO needs to go away from the 3-5 step drop and drop back, buy time and make a throw. I don't trust Webb.
  19. This would all be a non-story had the Bears traded him after 2007 and got a few picks for him. His value was never going to be higher, and they instead kept him and gave him a stupid contract. Now, he admits his mind wasn't "in it" last year. Maybe because you got all of your money? Go away.
  20. He only gave up 3 sacks last year, but you all love Carimi so no thanks I guess.
  21. There's a difference between "they have McManis under contract so maybe they'll give him a try" and "the Bears gave McManis a 4 year deal so they obviously believe in him."
  22. What? The Bears didn't give him that contract. That's his rookie deal from Houston...
