  1. Otah Flacco Kevin Smith Johnathan Hefney Dorien Bryant Rubin (who?) Dizon (who?) Crummey (who?) I like the first 4 picks, however, I'd probably rather have Slaton then Smith, and I just don't know...If Hardy is there when we pick for the 2nd time, I'd looove to have him, yet I'd looove to have Flacco, too. AHH GOD! I don't know what to do!
  2. Thinking about it, this is scary. Rex, Berrian, that OL, and Peterson is scary. Address the CB/S position with the first pick if you get Berrian, and with that great run stopping front 7, this team wins the division next year and possibly gets to Tampa on February 2, 2009.
  3. I could see us going with him with our 2nd round pick if Doucet and Hardy are gone already. I'd love to have Berrian, Thomas/Doucet/Hardy, Hester, Bradley, Moose WR core.
  4. I'm half wrong. I was right Hester wasn't fastest, but wrong it is Yamon Figures. There's actually 13 guys faster then Hester in the NFL currently: 1. Michael Bennett- 4.13 2. Laveraneus Coles- 4.16 3. Ike Taylor- 4.184 4. Joey Galloway- 4.187 5. Ahman Green- 4.19 6. Kevin Curtis- 4.21 7. Donte Stallworth- 4.22 8. Willie Parker- 4.23 9. Randy Moss- 4.25 9. Fabian Washington- 4.25 10. Champ Bailey- 4.28 10. Jerome Mathis- 4.28 10. Willis McGahee- 4.28 14. Stanford Routt- 4.29 Hester isn't even on the top 14. Actually, he's probably in the 30's; he ran a 4.45
  5. Donte Stallworth, current NE WR, now an UFA. He'd look good in our WR core if Berrian leaves. However, if NE loses Moss, I think they'll sign Stallworth. He'd be their #1/#2 Anyways, what do you think of this possibility? He'll 28 next November, which is pretty decent. I'd give him 3-4 years...
  6. I forget which "expert" said it; never mind. Obviously, if what you're saying is true, I'd love to have Williams. However, I'd rather have Long, Clady, or Otah (not so much Baker, I've heard his knee problems are more then just a slight issue)
  7. I heard his Senior Bowl wasn't what was expected of him, that's all.
  8. To start, Hester isn't. Yamon Figures (sp?) from the Ravens is the fastest. Secondly, I like the idea. Too bad Hester probably couldn't memorize a playbook for his life, but let's hope he does
  9. First off, I'd rather go Otah or Baker at 14 then Williams. Besides the fact that he forgot WR is a pretty serious need of the Bears, I like the draft. Williams, Henne, Slaton, Adams, Hefney, Avril (who??), Robinson (who??), and Fontenot (just what we need, 1 more of those in Chicago). Well, I guess I didn't like the draft, seeing how I only knew the first 5 guys. Other then the last 3, I wouldn't mind the first 5. I'm with MadLith; I don't loooove it, but I wouldn't mind it.
  10. Am I the only one who sort of likes Eli now? I used to hate the man, but I sort of like him. He went threw media hell for 3 years and 364 days, and he is on pace in his career to have 2 rings through 9 years, while his big brother had 1 through 9 years. Not to jump bandwagons, but I grant the guy a s***load of respect. As I said earlier, he is now a top 5 NFL QB.
  11. Wow. That's all I can/have to say. Eli is now a top 5 NFL QB.
  12. Wow, I'm sorry, guys. It was supposed to say "almost guarantee he retires after that season", not "this season" Apologies
  13. Exactly, DABEARSDABOMB. Everyone here is acting like Chad is TO, a.k.a. a cancer in the locker room. He's not. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3228585 GO GET 'EM, JA!!!
  14. Patriots 41, Giants 23 Brady MVP 19-0. I'll be proud to tell my children and/or grandchildren I saw it in my lifetime.
  15. Urlacher's contract is up at the end of the 2011 season, and we all know with how his back problems are still there despite what he says, we can almost guarantee he retires after that season. Now the question: Will the Bears win a Super Bowl with Urlacher? Explain your reasoning, and give some predictions on who'll lead us in some statistical categories in the year you think they'll win, like tackles, rushing yards, receiving yards, TD's thrown, etc.
  16. Well I can say one thing- if Phillips is still there in round 2 when we choose again, and we don't take him, JA should be fired on the spot. Period.
  17. Gee, I don't know- how about...catching TD's like it's going out of style, year in, year out. And we'll need to give up somebody good to get somebody good. Nobody said we have to get rid of Alex to get Johnson, I put a "/" after Brown b/c it could be Anderson, too.
  18. Here's my newest one: trade with Atlanta so they can take McFadden at 3-5 and then get either Brohm or Ryan at 14; we get one of their 2nds and their 3rd 1. Gosder Cherilus, OT, Boston College 2. Joe Flacco, QB, Delaware 3. Devin Thomas, WR, Michigan State 4. John Greco, OT, Toledo 5. Kevin Smith, RB, Central Florida 6. Adrian Fleullen, DT, Florida State 7. Todd Blythe, WR, Iowa State 8. Jamie Silva, S, Boston College 9. Jehuu Culcrick, FB, Michigan State Thoughts?
  19. Why do all these "experts" continue to refuse to put Kenny Phillips in the top 15. Jeepers...
  20. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3226203
  21. Has he posted his 2nd, maybe his 3rd, yet bradjock?
  22. I'll just leave this alone. I didn't know just b/c you were a part of this forum you had to consistently get on your knees for past and present Bears squads, but apparently you do. Sorry, it's an opinion I have.
