1. Cutler was great. Aside from his pick-6 and first 10 throws, he finished 20-25 with 320 yards and 2 TD's. 2. Maybe I'm over-reacting but I think Alshon Jeffery will get to 1,000 yards this year. 3. Marshall is a beast. Bennett is a nice compliment to everything the offense has. 4. Putting the first few plays to the side, the OL wasn't too bad. Freeney going out helped too, I'm sure. Spencer is clearly the worst OL they have, however. Maybe it's already time to give Williams a try there? 5. Tim Jennings was awesome today. Peppers and Melton were forces. Briggs was fun to watch.

The Bears should be putting all of their eggs in the Jake Long UFA basket. IIRC, he's going to be a UFA after this season. Before last year, he played 61 straight games. He only gave up 4 sacks in 2010. He was named the 59th best player in football by the players after that. He's really good and entering his prime. As for LB's, they should just draft one early. I'm not a Manti Te'o fan as he's not exactly fast, but he's smart and he can really hit. However, if they're picking in the late 20's or in the 30's, he won't be available.

No way they go DE again after McClellin this year. Rhodes would be a nice pick. Jenkins is a 3-4 DE and is now out for the year. Dawkins would be a solid mid-round selection.

So...if the XP holder muffs the ball 90 or so yards backwards and they recover in their own end zone and get tackled there, it's worth 1 point?

He hasn't made it with at least two teams, that's why. If you honestly think Myron Rolle is as good as Conte or Wright...wow. I'm not a Major Wright fan, but if Myron Rolle was a PS player in Tennessee and was just cut in Pittsburgh, that probably means he's not any good. Conte was named by a few publications as an All-Rookie 1st or 2nd team FS in 2011.

This is what you get? He had a freak, neck injury. His knee issues at Oregon State had no impact on this neck injury. Any player could hurt their neck at any current time.

Peppers hasn't lived up to his contract? Multiple FF's, FR's, sacks, an INT, TFL, etc. I'd say he's more than shown he's worth it.

1. The offense is still a work in progress. Cutler just wasn't on the same page with the WR's + Forte. 2. Forte and Bush had no lanes to run through. 3. Jeffery had a TD drop with Cutler and a 1st down drop with Campbell. That's unacceptable. For as much heat as McClellin takes, Jeffery was just as unimpressive yesterday. 4. Nobody on the DL besides Peppers can get pressure. The Giants double, sometimes triple, teamed him yesterday and still nobody could step up. That's scary. 5. The ST has been the worst phase so far this preseason. Missed tackles, returns for TD's, long returns, etc. Toub must be pissed. 6. Webb > Williams. End it now. Williams looks disinterested and really isn't any good. 7. These replacement refs are terrible. They picked up the flag on the helmet hit on Marshall which was blatantly a 15 yard flag, and then gave Steltz a 15 yard flag when he barely touched the guy. After the Marshall flag-pick up, the ref said "...it's now 2nd down." No, it was then 3rd down, dumba**. 8. Walters keeps on making plays. Major Wright, watch yourself. 9. Marshall is really good.

Exactly. If they run into a blizzard, they have Forte and Bush, one of the best combo's in the game.

Hardin will have some tests in the coming days to figure out when he can play next. Conte will play week 1.
