  1. TO has Tate, Rice, Baldwin, and Edwards to compete with. I can't see TO being a HUGE factor. 600 yards and a few TD's sounds about right.
  2. Congrats to him. I hope this isn't a distraction to him or the team, but I doubt it will be. All of these guys seem focused on the season.
  3. If he has 7 sacks this year, will that change your mind? Which Conte is.
  4. Moore being the #4 CB is no surprise. Still, he'll be the #1 nickel. Hayden will backup Jennings and Tillman, and if someone else needs a backup, in comes Moore.
  5. So if Peppers hits Manning in the back with his helmet, you actually think he'll be suspended? If not, am I really supposed to care if he gets fined?
  6. The stats show that he's a good WR who catches everything. He "wasn't getting open" when Hanie was in the game.
  7. I actually love this forum. We all know each other's tendencies and who we like and how we feel on topics. Also, there isn't TONS of posts which makes threads easier to follow. Being on forums with hundreds of posters makes reading threads impossible because there are 30+ pages. Regardless, I can't wait for the season. BD
  8. No, but 3 straight days of doing nothing is uncommon.
  9. Yeah, I'm in agreement 100%. I want to see Peppers put his helmet right into the back of Manning and put his ass out until week 6. I want every QB who walks out and sees the navy and orange to know that it's going to be a long week in the ice tub after that game.
  10. What if you have it this Saturday and Calvin Johnson breaks his leg and Foster tears up his knee? I always wait until after the last preseason game...
  11. Put it this way: I don't care what McClellin's stats are this year, except sacks. If he has 10 tackles and 8 sacks, that's fine.
  12. Nice find. NFL.com did a "top 5 rookies we've seen during TC so far" list and Jeffery was #2 behind Tampa's Doug Martin.
  13. I hate to do this, but I have a meeting in Minneapolis on September 3 and 4. I don't get in until 9:00 pm on that Tuesday. Sorry guys!
  14. I do, but you put a crying emoticon. I think that's a bit extreme.
  15. But what about for me, who wasn't in it last year? Just because I didn't do it last year (because I didn't know these existed on this board), I have to have the 1st or last pick in the first round? Seems a little unfair.
  16. And what difference does it make if this Cole makes the team or not? Is he a friend?
  17. This isn't all that surprising. I was skeptical of the selection back in April and I still am. He doesn't seem to be strong enough. He seems fast, but that's about it. He also doesn't seem BIG enough (6'3" and 260 just doesn't cut it for an NFL 4-3 DE, I would assume). Call me crazy and looking too much into it, but he also seems too nice. He's always smiling and making appearances and tweeting fans back. He seems to enjoy the fame, which I can't blame him for, but he seems at ease with his life already. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but until he can get to opposing quarterbacks against STARTING caliber offensive lines (unlike at Bourbonnais, where the only QB he can get to is Blanchard playing against the 3rd string OL), I'm going to remain skeptical. Hopefully the Jeffery and Rodriguez selections can make the 2012 draft a good one when we look back on it in 3 years.
  18. Actually, I thought it said 7:30 pm, or am I just seeing things? That's what I'd prefer.
  19. I hope it's random, because I didn't participate last year. I'd rather not just be given pick #1.
  20. The only 2 first rounders who are unsigned are Blackmon and Wright.
  21. If that's the case, he'll be in another uniform next season. Orlando Scandrick got a huge deal last offseason, about $6m/year, from Dallas as their best nickleback. If Moore has a good season, he'll want that same amount, and with guys like Melton, Cutler, Urlacher, maybe Hester, etc looking to get new deals in the next year or two, that'll be almost impossible.
  22. I'm definitely interested. Do we pay via Paypal? Sorry for all of the questions. I've never done a FFL on this site.
  23. Why would Chicago now give up a 6th for Jeff Otah? He's never been healthy and was just acquired for a 7th round pick. Now, he can't even pass a physical in New York. Why should the Bears give up a 6th round pick for a load of crap? I get your last paragraph. I think they should hold onto the rest of their picks. Having a 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 6th next year should be good enough. I could also see the Bears trading down next year, similar to what Angelo used to do, to get a 1st and an additional 2nd to make up for the lost 3rd in the Marshall deal. With 11 days before the Broncos game? Highly doubtful.
