  1. He said "surprise," not "unknown across the nation to very well known."
  2. He's saying that even if QB-1 has a better year than QB-2, QB-2 will make the Pro Bowl if he's more "popular."
  3. What would Melton have to do to be considered a surprise? IIRC, he led all DT's in sacks last season.
  4. FWIW, Jaws is doing a top 30 NFL QB's list every day on SportsCenter, and he's into the top 12 and he still hasn't named Cutler, so that's big time respect. He'll have him ahead of Tebow (who he has last), Stafford, Newton, and Vick.
  5. When would a corner stand in front of a wide receiver and not jump for a ball that takes half of a jump to make an interception?
  6. Who I hope breaks out Carimi McClellin Davis If those three do, the Bears will be in GREAT shape in 2012. Who I think will break out Carimi Davis
  7. I just don't get the whole "if Jennings could jump and Marshall couldn't, Jennings still would have no chance for the INT" point he made.
  8. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/mul...clip=Y&rn=9 Not great video, but s*** I'll take it. Just thinking of what these two could do together gives me goosebumps. Bill Polian said today Marshall might catch 115 passes, and Cris Carter said that this is the best Marshall has looked since his junior year at UCF, mentally. Carter and him work out together in Florida in the offseason apparently.
  9. My gut feeling is this: Weems and Thomas will be primarily ST, and rightfully so. Hester will get some time at WR, but he'll primarily be ST as well. Sanzenbacher will be cut. The starters will "technically" be Marshall and Jeffery, but there will be A LOT of 4 WR sets. When there isn't 4 WR sets, there will be 3 WR-2 TE sets, with Marshall, Jeffery, Bennett, Davis, and Rodriguez.
  10. Yes. The kid from Wisconsin Whitewater will be a PS player.
  11. Reasons why Devin Hester should start over Jeffery: 1. Bleacher Report says otherwise
  12. My volume is broke on my computer. Can someone tell me what Moon said are the positives and negatives of this team?
  13. These are all such disappointing cuts. These guys showed so much promise. So much for the Super Bowl.
  14. My point is someone said that nothing has been made of Thomas this offseason so I provided a link. Why do you want to add all of these losers to this team? In one thread you want a J'Marcus Webb clone and in this one, you want an UDFA rookie WR. The Bears added FOUR wideouts this offseason. Isn't that enough? Will your next thread be one complaining that Emery didn't take a flier on Ochocinco?
  15. He needs to learn how to catch. I counted at least 4 dropped INT's last year, including one against Philadelphia and Carolina each. Both of these games were close margins, and an INT would've put them out of reach. Other than that, I think Jennings is a very underrated player who fits this scheme perfectly. When he got an extension this offseason, I kept saying that it was a really good move.
  16. You also didn't see Tom Brady dominate at the collegiate level like Matt Leinart did. Obviously, if you're good in college you'll be a good pro. Wait, what?
  17. He's a pretty funny guy. He's been calling up the W&S Show for awhile now. He has a good sense of humor and he loves making fun of Silvy. Honestly, I think the might be some controversial quotes, but Cutler's a pretty smart guy. E.Manning and Brady have a show like this in NYC and Boston. Cutler will be fine.
  18. It should be Peterson. That would go to Akers or Janikowski, IMO.
  19. Cutler will now do 1 hour every week on the Waddle & Silvy Show in Chicago during the football season. He signed on Friday. His hour be called the Jay Cutler Show. http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...000-weekly-show
  20. I think the winners are BR writers and the losers are us who continue to read their garbage and consider it credible. Thomas/Weems article.
