  1. I'll go with these three: 1. Forte's in a holdout. 2. Webb and Williams are dead even in the LT race. 3. Cutler is more of a leader.
  2. So wait, the Bears should move Garza to OG because that's "maximizing" his potential and ability. How so? He was almost a Pro Bowl C last year. Isn't keeping him there and getting him even more familiar there "maxmizing" his ability? Sure, he's 32 or 33, but he might have found some youth at C. Plus, did he ever almost make a Pro Bowl at OG? I doubt it. In other words, maybe he was a good OG for years, but that doesn't mean he can't be a good C for the next 3 years either.
  3. "The Bears are cheap" is just a dumb, stereotypical line from people who don't follow the Bears closely. The Bears will be paying Briggs, Forte, Cutler, Tillman, Urlacher, Peppers, and Marshall $7.7m+ next year. Plus, Lovie is the 6th highest paid coach.
  4. Yeah he's just a big goon with no talent and slow feet. He talks a big game on twitter, but in reality, he needs to shut up and hit the weights or at least a path to run and get in shape. His cockiness on twitter is borderline DUMB because he sounds so ridiculous. He essentially has guaranteed he'll be much better and make the Pro Bowl.
  5. SMC-Paea-Melton-Peppers Webb-Williams-Garza-Louis-Carimi
  6. Fluker, Joeckel, Matthews, and Aboushi are all likely top 15 picks, barring injury or poor performances. On that note, they likely won't be available because the Bears will likely be picking in the 20's, barring injuries. Hankins and Lotulelei are both top 10 picks, Jenkins is a 3-4 OLB, Wagner is a RT, and Hyde isn't that great. Therefore, Faulk, Holmes, Short, Nico Johnson, and Rhodes are guys I'll be keeping my eyes on.
  7. Why do you like that? Garza was a Pro Bowl alternate last year at C. Meanwhile, Spencer is injury prone. He was awful at OG, but he shouldn't be rewarded then with a spot at C. He should be in competition to have any spot on the team at all.
  8. Cutler is supposedly buying a home in Nashville. He's going to live there in the offseason, and Cavallari and the kid will live there all year 'round, including the football season.
  9. This is no surprise for 2 reasons: 1. They have no pads or helmets on. 2. Brown was the best UFDA available. If he makes the team and is even a starter, I wouldn't be shocked.
  10. I was thinking: if you could add ANY two NFL players (current) to the current Bears team, who would they be? I've thought long and hard about this, and I've decided that 3 months ago, I would've said Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson. But, the Bears just used a 2nd round pick on Alshon Jeffery and two 3rd's + $9m/year on Brandon Marshall. So, I came up with these two: Joe Thomas, LT, Browns Haloti Ngata, DT, Ravens Thomas and Ngata are both in their primes and both very good. The Bears OL would go from medicore to good in a heartbeat, and their DL would be McClellin-Melton-Ngata-Peppers. Honorable mention: Darelle Revis, Rob Gronkowski, Jared Allen. Thoughts??
  11. Has Hub ever broken a story? Has he ever talked about something and then it happened, such as a possible trade or signing? Has he ever told us something we didn't know? No, no, and no. That's what I mean by "doesn't have any sources."
  12. Hub was highly critical of Cutler and Marshall being out late the night at a downtown club after Marshall was acquired. He claimed that Marshall just had an incident at an NYC nightclub, and this showed how Cutler truly doesn't care about what's in the best interest of the Bears but instead does stuff for himself. That is such BS. Cutler went out with Marshall, in a VIP area, by themselves to talk football. I don't know why this is such a big issue for Hub.
  13. He also has no true sources and half of his rumors are made up garbage. I've also heard he's a prick to people, as in if he's approached in public. He talks up a good game, but any of us could do his job.
  14. EDIT: Yeah, Pompei is a stroke. I forgot about him. His piece on Cutler a few months ago was awful. He incorporated Cutler's "lack of leadership" with latin quotes or some s***. Horrible.
  15. I don't hate any, to be honest. Jensen is really good, Biggs asks tough questions, JD is decent, Wright and McClure break a lot of stories, etc. Mayer works for the Bears. He'll never say a bad thing about a player, coach, or front office rep as long as they're signing his checks.
  16. I know you're from the States and moved across the pond years back, but this is pretty ridiculous. "Cutler looked arrogant when they played in England." No offense, but he looks arrogant every game. Do you want him smiling during the game just because the game is in England and it's a once in a lifetime thing for Bears fans in London? Manning throws his teammates under the bus. Brady gives nothing during press conferences. Brees wants more than $20 million per year. Eli makes dumb faces after INT's. Yes, all of these QB's have won championships, but what right does that give them? They now have the right to blame other players for losses, look stupid, want more money than any of this board has made combined in their lifetimes, and say jack s*** in postgame interviews? I couldn't care less what jerseys you buy. If you have a Cutler jersey, he won't be a better player because of it. You can do as you choose, but Ray Lewis was on trial for suspected murder. I bet you'd cheer for him if he was a Bear. If I come across as snotty and mean (like Cutler), my apologies. Plenty of current Bears and past Bears have done dumb things- Urlacher cheated on his wife, so did Payton, Briggs is a greedy Lamborghini-crasher, and so on. Nobody is an angel.
  17. If he's really good from now until 2016, I'll take it. He doesn't have to be "elite," per se. No, part of that lifestyle isn't people standing outside your home all day and following you as you walk around. Part of the lifestyle is paparazzi, but not paparazzi standing outside your home. This doesn't happen everyday. After his first TD, nobody will give a s*** about him giving the bird to a waste of a life in May. After his first win in week 1 by 20 points, nobody will even remember this. It's irrelevant.
  18. 1) Who cares if he's a jerk or punk? If he plays like he did in 2010 and 2011, I couldn't care less. 2) Cutler tweeted that the guy was outside his house all day with a camera. THAT's the guy who should grow up, and don't tell me that "that's his job." It's nobody's job to sit outside someone's house with a camera and wait for him to come out. It is probably his job however to get pictures of celebrities. Stalking them doesn't fall under that. The job of guys like that is to pretty much roam cities and take pictures of people. (shortly after the tweet, he deleted his twitter.) 3) Cutler has never done anything like that despite there being pictures of him and Cavallari all over the internet. All of you have to do is google "Cutler Cavallari" and click images to see that in all of their other photos he doesn't seem to mind. This guy obviously did something wrong.
