  1. Why wasn't Briggs saying he'll be "fricking pissed" if they lost to Palko? This is a dumb story. They should be fricking pissed whether they lose to Rodgers or Tebow.
  2. Slap in the face to who? It's not like the offense has been great and Martz deserves a raise.
  3. Do you really think the Bears are going to give up on Conte already at FS? Also, why do you feel DT and DE aren't needs?
  4. I'm hearing that there is a 1% chance Martz is back next year.
  5. Look at some of the more recent Colts' drafts too. Hughes, Ugoh, Gonzalez, etc. Yuck.
  6. The guy who has the most drops on the team has to be Tim Jennings...
  7. Stephen A Smith would've been out there too...since you know, he knows what it's like to play QB with an MCL sprain in his plant leg.
  8. FORTE IZ A QUITER. Y WASNT HE OUT THERE WHEN DA TEAM NEEDED HIM?!?!? HE IS SOFT!!!! Where's that talk this week for Forte? Fair is fair, right? Same injury, same grade of the injury, etc.
  9. If the Browns want to offer two 1st round picks for Forte, you do it. In their spot this year (which will be top 8 or 10), you draft Trent Richardson. In the Bears' spot (which will now likely be top 15 by year's end) you take the best WR, LB, or OL available.
  10. 0% chance of this happening. This is ESPN blowing up a false rumor regarding Favre like usual. No point in even talking about it.
  11. Bring him here because "he's better than Enderle?" On that note, the Bears should call me. McNabb is toast. If Hanie gets hurt, the season is over anyway, whether it's McCown, McNabb, Enderle, Favre, Delhomme, etc.
  12. Very possible. He's awful. Problem is, he'll be pulled after 2, if not 1.
  13. If Martz is back, I can see Eddie Royal. He has a comfort level with Cutler and he's a smaller guy, which is needed given how quick guys have to be out of their breaks in this offense. If not, I could see Reggie Wayne. He's an older guy, and those older guys who were great are guys JA takes fliers on. Obviously, we'd all love VJ but I highly doubt it.
  14. Palko comes in, throws for 20 yards and 2 INT's in the 1st, and Orton plays the rest of the game. Is there anyway it DOESN'T go like that?
  15. -Said he can't wait to get on the field. He said being hurt sucks because it's uncharted territory for him. -Claimed Martz needs to tone down the play calls for Hanie (right after Hanie said he's fine with the plays). -Made a point to say "we need to get Matt going" about 3 times. -Told the media he has 2 pins and 3 screws (or vice versa, I can't recall) in his thumb right now. -Stated he would love to play now but he obviously can't. -Said he might be out for the year (in other words, "I'll be back sooner than later") -Confirmed the report that he is engaged again.
  16. Also, sounds like John Clayton isn't ruling him out being the next Jags head coach either.
  17. I think he means before the Oakland game. To answer him, I know they ran it this year, and I'm 95% sure it was against Atlanta. Remember when Cutler overthrew Davis when he was wide open?
  18. I'm like 99% sure it was 2nd and 1, not 1st and goal. I agree that was a dumb play call, especially with how well they were running. It was 2nd and an inch from Oakland's 6 with a timeout left. Run, get the 1st, use a TO, and have 3 plays from the 5 to the endzone. If that fails, they're up 10-9 going into the half. However, that was a great play by Oakland. Also, Kellen Davis has to come to that ball and make a better attempt. I'm just hesitant on firing Martz because then Cutler will have to learn another playbook and it seemed like he was really coming around in this offense.
  19. It works for me. Collins had one good year. FWIW, nobody wants to see the back-up to Hanie. If that happens, they're f***ed regardless.
  20. Yeah, he's the definition of a d-bag, and in a successful year, everyone's talking about how big of a stroke Suh is rather than Detroit's success. Stay classy.
  21. If the Bears can't beat the Chiefs with Palko or Orton, they're f***ed.
  22. Damn, thanks. I used to work at a sports store and we'd get our employee discount (30% off) on top of the M&N sales (30-40% off).
  23. John Clayton tweeted earlier that Cutler has a displacement...
  24. I pick him up, and when Cutler's healthy, I cut his ass. I've never been an Orton fan, but he knows the AFC West (in particular the Broncos). Jay Glazer says it'll come down to KC, CHI, and HOU. Both Houston and KC have a waiver claim before Chicago, though.
