  1. Watch some of his highlights. He hits as hard as any CB in football. He doesn't register a lot of tackles because he doesn't get thrown at a lot.
  2. Yeah, it looks unlikely now that Kreutz comes back. Angelo is a f***ing joke. They offered him1 year at $4 million. WTF?
  3. I haven't read anything on the money, but I know it's for 1 year.
  4. I fail see why the sub-title for this thread talks about Gaines Adams. Vernon Gholston has 0 sacks in his career, while Adams had 13.5 in his 4 seasons. They're not really "coming off the board left and right." Check my "Dahl to STL" thread. There are plenty of solid OL left.
  5. I have no hard feelings toward Terra as a person. I'm sure he/she is a great person. But the constant pessissism gets pretty f***ing old. I don't know how anyone could disagree. What "venom" could terra have toward football? I doubt he has venom toward football, because if he did, he wouldn't continue to post in a football message board. But, if he has true venom toward football, perhaps he should take up tennis or something. This is where everyone tells you how lucky they were..
  6. Corey Graham will stay with the Bears, per Vaughn McClure.
  7. His style of play? Asomugha is one of the best tackling CB's around. He loves to come up in the box and hit RB's, whether it's on a run or screen play. He loves to hit WR's on WR screens also.
  8. #1- They didn't pay Williams like a #1 WR. They gave him about $3m for 1 year. #2- It's not that terra doesn't like "a" move. He doesn't like, and has never liked, ANY moves. #3- That's fine. If you don't like the FO and their moves, then stop posting in forums, like you have. That's much better for other members than to constantly hear another member's nonstop b****ing.
  9. You know, if Knox doesn't progress and neither does Hester, I can see JA taking a serious run at Larry Fitzgerald next offseason.
  10. At least I'm not the only one who thinks terra's act is old..
  11. Asomugha is already 30. This signing is going to look like s*** in 3 years.
  12. With Dahl leaving Atlanta for St. Louis, this leaves this group left for FA OL: Sean Locklear, OT, Seattle Matt Light, OT, New England Jared Gaither, OT, Baltimore Ryan Harris, OT, Denver Brian Waters, OG, Kansas City Kyle DeVan, OG, Indianapolis Derrick Dockery, OG, Washington Dockery is interesting. He was very good in 2009 but he didn't fit in Shanahan's ZBS. Gaither was good up until his back injury, and we all know those don't go away completely. Harris isn't a fit, because he's a ZBS OT. Waters might work, depending on the window the FO thinks the Bears have. If he thinks it's a 1-2 year window, Waters would be a nice sign. DeVan is a great run blocker but he commits a lot of dumba** penalties.
  13. per Biggs' twitter. Welcome aboard, 2011 draft class. In 2014, you'll all likely be on other teams, whether it's the NFL or CFL.
  14. Yeah, what a horses*** move it turned out to be to hire Rod Marinelli.
  15. To terra- Internet tough guys wanting to know another member's age. Get a life. I'm in my 20's. What does that even matter? It seems like you're 13, with your constant spam and overreaction to the smallest s***. Seriously, after every Bears loss, you post 7 new threads with 8 words each. Consider yourself lucky that this message board lacks members and activity, because you'd be banned on any other site, at least if I was a mod or admin. If you don't like anything the FO does or players on the Bears do in the games, then become a fan of another team. Seriously. We all get it by now: you wish Jerry Angelo would jump off of a building, you wish Lovie would've been fired 5 years ago, you hate Cutler, Knox/Bennett/Hester all suck, WR is a huge need. I remember an old poster on here that eventually got banned. He once said "Orton sucks. Jake Delhomme is a real QB who the Bears should go after." Point being, you two seem like the same people. Get over yourself.
  16. Terra- give it up on Olsen. He never reached what anyone thought he could do in the NFL. He wasn't as fast as everyone made him out to be, he never went up strong for a lob pass, and he was an average blocker. Yes, he was Cutler's friend, but it's a business. Move on. As for Williams, I'm not a huge fan of him. If he lacks motivation and not talent, then why give him 2 or 4 years? Why not go with 1? And if he didn't want 1, rumor has it that Sims-Walker did.
  17. He'll likely be the Bears #5 WR and play some ST. In other words, he's taking Davis' spot.
  18. Paea is a beast. I think he's going to be the best player the Bears have drafted in awhile.
  19. BUT DUDE THEY NEEDZ A BIG WR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 I hope everyone is happy. Roy Williams sucks, but he has had 1 great year under Martz. Let's hope he can make some plays.
  20. I find it very odd that 2 straight nights, Sims-Walker has tweeted something giving love to Bears fans. It's either he knows something, or really wants to come to Chicago.
  21. This guy's name never goes away. Sources say he is in touch with the Bears.
  22. Nicks was tendered by the Saints, so there's no way he comes to Chicago. They need to get serious about Dahl, though.
  23. I'm surprised to know that Steve Smith is a UFA. Did anyone here know this? Granted, he suffered a bad leg injury in December, but s***, he can play.
  24. Not a fan of this, at all. A 3rd and Connor would've been nice, but just a 3rd? Meh.
  25. Then he doesn't. You act like this would surprise you. He'll probably stick by his guys (Williams, Garza, Webb) before he signs a 29-30 year old to replace them. But in the mean time, have a little confidence, yeah? I haven't heard a peep out of Clabo, Dahl, or Nicks from Schefter, La Canfora, Mortensen, etc regarding these three. Calm down.
