  1. Exactly. I never said Cutler was good in his time in the game. That's actually my point. He sucked when he was healthy, and for him to come back in on a torn-up knee would've made s*** 6x worse.
  2. Fair enough. Agree to disagree. Cutler has missed ONE start since he was drafted 4.5 years ago. I don't think you ever decide to make a career in a sport and then QUIT on your team for a right to get to the championship.
  3. Voice of reason. Thank you. Voice of reason II. Thank you.
  4. Do any of you think the window is closed? I do. Despite having a young offense, most of those young guys suck. Omiyale, Knox, Webb, and Hester all suck. The defense is great, but by the time 2012 comes around (which is when the next season will be most likely) Urlacher, Peppers, Briggs, Idonije, Tillman, and C.Harris will all be TWO years old on top of their already advanced ages. F*** MY LIFE
  5. How do you know Cutler didn't want to keep playing? Jamie Dukes and Tom Waddle are ripping everyone for saying he's not tough right now on NFL Network. Tune in, champ. As for "what does losing the game have to do with it?", what the hell are you talking about? You're right, this wasn't about winning. If he would've came back, played with the injury, kept playing like he did in the 1st half (like pure s***), it would've all been fine and dandy because he would've shown "toughness." BULLS***. Do you think Chargers fans are so happy about Rivers playing that game? Man, that really paid off. SWEET!
  6. Johnny Knox sucks. He can't go up and make a catch or prevent an INT to save his own life. Hester would've had 2 more catches and about 80 more yards + a TD today but Cutler over threw him twice. Aromashodu can go away so I can stop hearing about how great he is. Bennett is solid. The Bears need help on the OL. Kreutz just sucks and Chris Williams couldn't block me. Omiyale and Webb have made strides but Omiyale should have a competition for LT in the offseason and if he loses, cut his a$$ and his $6.6m/year salary. Webb should be given the benefit of the doubt being a 7th round RT from a small school. DT is a huge, underrated need. Anthony Adams is flat out bad and Tommie Harris needs to be sent packing ASAP. Oh, and Tim Jennings is garbage and got absolutely killed today.
  7. YOU GUYS ARE A F***ING JOKE! You are the same clowns who say OMG THE BEARS NEED OL IN THE DRAFT AND FREE AGENCY. So WTF? This was bound to happen eventually. He got concussed in NY on national television and today, with the whole world watching, took a hit to the knee. This is complete and utter BS that you people think he quit on the team. You all should be ashamed of yourselves. Did you hear Urlacher after the game? "My QB is tough as hell. He gets hit and never b****es and never complains." Or Kreutz? "It's a ligament tear." Or even Cutler himself? "I couldn't plant and throw, and the doctors wouldn't let me back out there." Philip Rivers played on a torn ACL? Oh really? And they lost 21-10 you f***ing idiots. Who gives a rat's a$$ then? You people are sick and make me f***ing sick. It's time to get back to the drawing board people. Caleb Hanie f***ing sucks and there's a reason he'll never be a full-time starter on an NFL roster. Oh, and Kyle Orton f***ing blows too, so don't give me any of that bulls***. If you don't like Cutler, his attitude, his "toughness", then keep your eye out for Orton this offseason when he'll be on another damn team because HE F***ING SUCKS. When he's playing for the Titans or Dolphins, you all can hitch your bandwagons on that f***ing train. Where were the rollouts today? Did Earl Bennett play the 1st 3 quarters? Why the f*** did Lovie not kick a 52 and 49 yard FG with Robbie Gould? Mr. "Good as Gould", Mr. "Highest Paid Kicker in Football."
  8. BUMP because he'll be active tomorrow.
  9. Isn't body language 2 words, Warren? But whatever. Also, Faulk said he'd take Cutler over Rodgers, Roethlisberger, and Sanchez to start a team.
  10. I'd add Tim Jennings and the rebirth of Hester to your list.
  11. 3 of those on your link picked the Bears, BTW.
  12. Totally off topic, but have you guys seen the fake LeBron one just like it? Both are hilarious.
  13. D.Brooks and JA Adande picked the Bears, FWIW.
  14. The national anthem, being there live, was f***ing awesome. Cornelison does this before every Blackhawks game and the crowd reacts the same way. It's so popular now because of the rebirth of the Blackhawks especially. Cornelison has sung before 2 or 3 other Bears game this year too. It's incredible.
  15. There's already a thread on this. But if you missed my comments: This is pretty f***ing ridiculous. Are reporters this damn bored? So every cancer patient that wants an autograph should get one? Look, cancer is in my family's genes and I've had many family members and friends die from it. But christ, give Rodgers a break.
  16. The trade was: BEARS GET: Knox Cutler BRONCOS GET: Orton Robert Ayers Richard Quinn* Seth Olsen* Erik Decker# Demaryius Thomas# Tim Tebow@ @ 3rd round pick the Broncos received by trading the Bears 2010 1st combined with Miami's 2nd rounder (Marshall trade) and Denver's own 4th to get Baltimore's first. * received by trading the Bears 2009 3rd rounder and Denver's own 3rd rounder. # received by trading the Bears 2010 1st round pick. Cutler: 13-5 since week 16 of 2009 with 33 pass TD's and 17 INT's. As of AFTER week 16: in his last 16 games, his QB rating was 7th best in football. Since the Bears bye (all of November and December), Cutler has a 96.9 rating on 3rd down and a 54.7% conversion rate, BEST in football. Cutler is only 1 of 2 QB's to have a 100+ rating vs the Jets this year, and the Jets had only given up 2 TD's of 20+ yards in 2010 into week 16; Cutler had 3 of 20+ in the 3rd quarter alone. In conclusion, before the Seahawks/Bears divisional game, Cutler had already gotten past the first week of the playoffs. Orton has never done that nor won a playoff game, which now Cutler has done. Orton: 48% of his yards and 11 of his 17 TD's have come when Denver is down 17+ points. As of November 28, in 7 of 10 games, Denver's offense had 0 points in the 1st quarter. In 5 of 10 games, they had 7 or less points at halftime. In 8 of 10, they had 10 or less at halftime. Lastly, in 5 of 10, they had 2 TD's or less going into the 4th quarter. CAN YOU SAY "GARBAGE TIME!?" Also, Orton has 5 wins since week 6 of 2009 IIRC. Oh, and Orton will likely be on another team next year.
  17. I guess we'll agree to disagree. If the Bears can draft an OT in round 3 or 4 (to battle it out at LT with Omiyale) and sign a guy like L.Mankins to start at G, the OL is signifcantly upgraded already. They don't need to spend 3 of their first 4 picks on OL or whatever this crazy idea is by any stretch. What will they do with all of that? Draft a C when they NEED one (like I said, they'll never cut Kreutz or let him walk) so that'll be in 1 or 2 years, and if they sign Mankins, they wouldn't need an OG (FO will use the "when Garza came back, things turned around" line) in the first few rounds but in the later rounds for depth and development (keep in mind they still like what they see in Louis).
  18. I can't say I'm SICK that it's called the Lombardi Trophy. I mean, isn't the NFC Championship trophy called the Halas Trophy? It's not a huge deal. It could be called the FAVRE TROPHY as long as the Bears hoist it again soon. Follow? BTW- welcome aboard.
  19. BUT ROGERS IS A BETTER PERSON THEN KUTLER CAUSE OMGZ KUTLER HAS BAD MEKANIKS AND BAD BODY LANGUAGE AND IS JUST AN ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1!1!1!
  20. The NFC is down to Green Bay and Chicago. The AFC is down to the Jets and Steelers. Two 2 vs 6 seed match-ups. That's the 2010-2011 NFL for you all.
  21. To paraphrase, Tom, you said: "he's too lazy to do endorsements." If he is, so what? He has to care about endorsements to win? Come on. He makes $21m/year. Why would he need a commercial for an extra $1m?
  22. This is pretty f***ing ridiculous. Are reporters this damn bored? So every cancer patient that wants an autograph should get one? Look, cancer is in my family's genes and I've had many family members and friends die from it. But christ, give Rodgers a break.
  23. Once again, have you heard of free agency? What, is Angelo supposed to go out and find an OG and OT in April who will be 1 and 2 in ROY voting come January 2012? This team is in win-now-mode. Draft an OG or OT in round 2, and an OT or OG in round 3 or 4, and sign a few good or great FA OL. Sure, the O is young, but the better players on the D (Tillman, Peppers, Briggs, Urlacher) are all aging.
