Huh? Lovie said to everyone who would listen, every week, Rex is my qb. Del Rio wavered all the time, switched qbs, has only recently said that Leftwich would be the starter next year. Not nearly the same situation.
Just not a lb. Not enough depth there, much better value later.
Jacksonville trades out. So, I'm an idiot. I'm shocked. They don't have a qb they believe in and they skip over Quinn.
Yes, Jacksonville takes him, definitely. I can really see him going to GB, though. You don't want to hold an heir apparent for 4 years. And swinging Rodgers for something.
Random idea -- Quinn to the Packers, and the Rodgers-for-Moss swap goes through -- ???
Edit: n/m, totally forgot they just picked Russell. That roughly reflects how much I care about the Raiders.
It's on again. I guess.

Funniest quote from the article?
Yeah.... It might have been a lot easier if you had shut up the first time around.
Exactly. Just like using the franchise tag, it'll never happen. I don't know why anyone would think he'd make a big trade now, just because it makes good sense.
I'd say about half of Chicago got really excited with that headline in the Trib, thinking he'd now become the backup qb.
Can't hurt mixing in some shotgun. Just a little more variety.
Okay, gotcha.
These draft trades are just so bizarre. Nobody wants to be shortchanged (at least by much) in the draft value chart sense, even though everyone knows the chart has massive flaws. I'm tired of even thinking about it.
