For me, it all goes back to the run game. Rex has been bad the last few games, there is no doubt. HOWEVER, the absence of the run game has to make it tough to do anything in the air. If the run game gets going like it was in 2005, Grossman all the sudden looks ALOT better.

Cant expect the D to keep making stops when they dont ever come off the field. Right now the G men are having trouble with our D. Have to give them a rest at some point.

So because Grossman has played, and BEAT the teams that are on schedule, he should be penalized? Rex had a bad day today, a real bad day. However, it alot easier to look over when he is 7-1 in 2006, and the week before he looked like a pro bowler. When you have Jason Taylor on your ass all day, and Gage and Moose not wanting to bring down the rock, it's going to make things very tough on you. How realistic was it think Grossman was going to put up Pro-Bowl numbers like he was ALLL season. Today was his what, 16th game in the NFL he has played in? He is going to have these days.

What.Have.You.Done.For.Me.Lately. Thats the sports world we live in. Might not be right, but for so many, thats what it comes down. Grossman was awful today, no getting around it. Grossman was all over the place, the special teams play was garbage, and it was amazing how bad Justin Gage actually is. The loss of Berrian was gigantic today for the Bears. He puts the O at a whole new level. It was an off game for everyone. The Bears seem to have the type of players that like being #1, and I have a feeling they are going to come out looking like world beaters in NY. It's going to be a very long week in the media, and they are going to want to shut everyone up.
