  1. Hoping for Shenault now if they go WR. They might be able to move down a bit from 50 and get Shenault. Guys that I hope make it to the Bears at 43: Josh Jones, OT/Houston Trevon Diggs CB/Alabama Kristian Fulton CB/LSU Guys I hope make it to the Bears at 50, or their 2nd pick if they trade down: Laviska Shenault WR/Colorado Grant Delpit S/LSU Jeremy Chinn S/SIU Ezra Cleveland OT/Boise St. The Bears should go OT/WR with one pick and DB with the other. If they're going to take an interior OL, I'd prefer to wait. It depends on what they want to do. Should they want to win next year, you go DB first and WR 2nd.
  2. Another one of my guys off the board late.
  3. Cleveland is OK, but everything I heard is that he's really weak. Massive bust potential, but if he's the best OT on the board, won't complain.
  4. Yeah. Bummer. Now I like Josh Jones from Houston. They wouldn't even would have been able to get Jackson if they had their 1st though.
  5. Damn. This was my guy. Was hoping he would drop to the Bears at 43.
  6. Yup. It seems like they should do this going forward. It would protect GMs from themselves. If Pace only got to watch film in 2017, does he pick Watson? Probably.
  7. Toliver was actually being mocked in the 2nd round the year he came out. Have no idea why he wasn't drafted. I would have thought that teams would have taken a shot on him in the 5th round or later.
  8. According to Walterfootball.com, Michael Lombardi has said OJ Howard is available. Would you give up something to grab him? https://walterfootball.com/nflpossibilities.php
  9. CB. I like Toliver, but I'm not ready to trust him as a starter yet. In my book, the biggest needs are S, OT, CB, OG, and even Edge rusher before WR. Should they look for a speed guy? Yeah, but in the later rounds. The two deepest positions on the roster are DL and WR.

    Derek Carr?

This has fueled speculation that the Bears are sniffing around Carr. Thoughts?
  11. Is it possible they could they reach an extension with Floyd and move him to ILB? That is where he belongs(imo)
  12. Wasn't it revealed that Hill's baby mama is cray-cray after that investigation? Everyone is so quick to judge and throw people under the bus instead of letting investigations play out. I thought she literally tried to frame him after an accident, the staged phone call where she edited a conversation to make him look like a monster. Kinda puts the other accusation she levied at him from college in doubt as well. It could be a case of he dumped her, is doing his fatherly responsibilities and she's beyond livid that she's not living the high life as the wife of an NFL star.

    2nd Round Mocks

They need 2 starting tackles and a guard. If I had to prioritize this offseason, it would be: 1) OL 2) Pass rusher opposite Mack 3) TE 4) DB 5) WR that takes the top off of a defense The reason I chose pass rusher over the other two, is that the most important parts of modern football are protecting and rushing the passer.
  14. A 2021 2nd. It's worth keeping the 2 2nds this year and getting a guy like that. I know it's more trading future picks, but I don't mind it for a known quantity. Idk if he even has that value tbh, it might only take a 3rd next year. I don't think they're allowed to trade their 4th this year, as their own was traded and the one they're getting is a comp pick. My guess is that Pace is going to trade down and try to get some extra picks with the Raiders 2nd. Someone from the back of the 2nd will want to trade up and give up their 3rd to do it. Always happens in the 2nd round.... a lot.
  15. I'd rather they try to get OJ Howard from Tampa via trade.

    Chuck Pagano

I want to say that I'm not a fan of Pagano. I think he's more conservative than Fangio, and Fangio was too conservative for my liking. Pagano goes into a damn prevent half way through the 3rd quarter with a lead. He makes easy wins too interesting. Look no further than the Dallas game for proof. I'm very disappointed in his first season as I was expecting a more aggressive DC than Fangio.
  17. Honestly idk if we can know for sure until six weeks into next season. At least he's turned it around somewhat. That might be a bad thing as it wastes more time if it's just a hot streak.
  18. Does Mitch still suck or is he turning a corner? He is trying to confuse.
  19. Floyd is making either $15M next year or is being cut. They picked up his 5th year option.
  20. I like Miller. I think he has talent and Nagy is throwing him under the bus to protect Mitch. Trubisky is his problem other than being a bit of a hothead.
  21. This is Trestman level bad on offense, with an offensive minded coach. At least Trestman could put up points with Cutler, Jeffery and Marshall. Nagy can't even build a functional offense. Regardless of the defensive talent, Pace and Nagy need to go. The Bears have 3-4 defensive personnel, so at the very least the next GM and coach need to be 3-4 guys.
  22. I'll take when a win feels like being eliminated from playoff contention for $800, Alex.
