  1. I got my Navy Mack last year, so I needed a new hero! I'd love to see Tru take on the headband! Fun is indeed the word!
  2. F PFF... I love Tru! I just pulled the trigger on the new retro white jersey for him!
  3. We are so blessed to have such an amazing woman as the team's owner!

    Mr Hicks

    That is super awesome!
  6. Everyone hates Tru, but Chicago
  7. This simply concerns me about his reliability. He wasn't leaned on all that much in Philly, and we he was by us, he got hurt. This season seems to be integral for him. Perform and stay healthy and he could stick around. Otherwise, we have have to hope for more out of Shaheen and hope that Dax Raymond can surprise.
  8. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2019/05/29/bears-trey-burton-out-of-otas-after-hernia-surgery/ Bears’ Trey Burton out of OTAs after hernia surgery Posted by Michael David Smith on May 29, 2019, 2:55 PM EDT Getty Images Bears tight end Trey Burton did not play in Chicago’s playoff game after he popped up on the injury report unexpectedly. That injury turned out to be serious enough that it’s still affecting him, almost five months later. Burton is not participating in Organized Team Activities, and Bears head coach Matt Nagy said today that it’s because he had hernia surgery. Nagy confirmed that the hernia surgery is related to the issue that kept him out of the playoff game. At the time, Burton said he felt he let the team down by not playing, but there was no pushing through it, saying his groin locked up and he simply couldn’t play. That the injury is still affecting him now shows that it was a major issue, but Nagy said he expects to have Burton back on the field when training camp opens in two months.
  9. What great news! Means Mizzelerable is out!

  11. Good points. I do think with our front 7 and the man lined up next to him, HHCD could possibly elevate his game to something amazing. And at minimum, just be solid.
  12. EPIC! I'm positive there are handicapped entrances and assistance. Check the Soldier Field FAQ's.
  13. Stats don't tell the whole story. Normally, as a player gets older, the stats get worse. Barth is out of the league. Parkey...who knows. We also know Gould has let it be known that he was off and needed the idea of being kicked off to light a fire under him. We also must remember that he struggled a year as a NYG before going to SF and regaining his form. Any surprise Gould kicked better in SF? Weather... Here's Gould per NFL.com His best year was w NYG at 100% (after he replaced Josh Brown...but he also missed 3 eps that year - 2 against us). His best in Chicago was 89.7% in 2013 and 2008. In SF, his average has been about 96%. O'D wasn't holding from 2005-2013 and his % was 86%. For the next 2 OD years, he was at 85.35%. With a really bad 2014 at 75%. Noting that he only attempted 12 kicks as we had to have Jay Feeley come in for 4 games and kick 3/4 for also 75%. Take out the odd 2014 year, and it's all really close. The stats "in opponents vs us away and on the road" is misleading. If we have the premise that our kickers suck, then it matters not who's holding. While there is enough stats to make a thought that it's all OD, there's equal info that shows it's just that the kickers sucked. For all of our sakes, I hope I am right and you are wrong that it ain't POD. Because he's here 2 more years...
  14. You'd think if it were the holder, one of the handful of kickers would've let it out through the grapevine that the holding was crummy. I just think it's bad luck. Time to turn it around! It's an interesting thought, but I think it's just random.
  15. Queue up Beavis & Butt-head! I throwing around terms like Dix n' Bush... That's a great savings for Chicago...
  16. I'd rather have Dix for the consistency. But, Berry for a one year I'm not opposed as long as it doesn't prevent us from signing someone else like Houston... If Berry is injured, we know we have a Bush up our sleeves...
  17. I don't think we are remotely set. Getting there. Howard may or may not be here. We may still kick some tires on FA's, and we more than likely will draft someone.
  18. This is a great move. We needed an upgrade on return men. We also get a sub for Bellamy/White as a WR4/5. He's not reliable per se, but Patterson can certainly be used as a great weapon by our offensive staff as many have mentioned. Slam dunk signing.
  19. We are finally a desirable landing spot... I'm really curious how this will play out!
  20. If this move bounces Mizzel - it's great!
  21. Do go and be logical here regarding anyone w/ the Packers! F him and the Packers!
  22. ha! Maybe he's the boy named Sue!? His college % is better than Gould's... 69% vs 65%. So, maybe there's not much to that. Also read where he has a super strong leg. I'm sure that's the appeal at the moment.
