The biggest issue will always be the SB... I wonder at what point in those other mentioned coaches' tenure for those wins did they win a SB? I just hope Smith can win the big one...

My most hated team...ever GB, now Minny. 1. GB (switch out MIN if Brett Farve is playing for them) 2. MIN 3. WAS (responsible for being the team that killed our SB hopes so often in the 80's including Walter's last game) 4. PATS (too good and coach is too unlikable) 5. DAL (America's team my a$$...) 6. MIA (still resent them for their perfect season BS...) 7. PIT (only right now since they've won too many darn SB's!) 8. OAK (used to like them, until every gangmember in the US took them on as their mascot)

I hated that classless move by Rudd! But since Minny never won a SB and I didn't think they could...they've been behind the Packers. Now that they look very dangerous, I want them squashed!

My hatred of GB stems from the cheap shot they gave Jimmy Mac all those years ago. Then, once they got Favre, it continued on with that and how many times he beat us. The one that stung was Butkus's retirement night in the rain... Now with him gone, my hatred has gone from 11 to 9. Whereas I've never had an issue with Minny other than them being in our division and them being fairly good most of the time. But, now with Favre there, and with the potential for post-season and more with their current team, I do not want Favre to win one again.

Add that to the list of the unsolved!

I do recall your issues with this in the past. It's frustrating. I'm not sure the solution, if any...but it just seems we're set for failure every time. Brady would completely annihilate this D w/ Welker.

One thing I'm bewildered by is whay wasn't Tillman on Calvin in the first place? When did Bowman get the top receiver?

It is like the lsser of 2 evils. I'd like to say I just root for injury, but I really don't. Although I lean towards Minny. It's a divisional opponent with our arch divisional rival on it.

I kept seeing the DB's giving WR's mad room. On a number of 3rd and 5's or 4's, the DB would give 8 yeards! This was in the first half predominantly. I just don't get that... Both those long drives on us were a result of much of that...

I finally got back into LA after the game yesterday, and celebrating at Ditka's afterwards! What a game! I've never seen that kind of offensive and ST outpouring of points! The D had me irritated for the first half, but the O was on time! As was the entrie ST crew! The crowd was really loud and really got behind the Bears. There were some boo's when Detroit scored on long drive, but justifiably so. SMith again made good adjustments at the half, yet couldn't again get it right on D at the beginning of the game. It's looked like deja vu other than the O coming to play! Kdos to the entrie O and ST...and to the D in the second half! (Could the D from the 1st half be waived?)

There are just certain plays, moves, etc...that many good old average Joe armchair QB's know are wrong. As nfo mentioned, none of us are saying we'd really be better. But, for those one or two plays/calls/etc...we are.

Not at all. It could prove a good move. What if the other team sees a certain formation and is convinced Turner's running that "lame play" again? Then he does a playaction or something... I mentioned earlier I felt for Wolfe. He's the collateral damage here... But, I'm sure he's a tough kid that will use this to his advantage.
