  1. With how badly our WR corprs performed, why wwere Bennett and hass never tried? What was there to lose in giving either a few series? Heck, the coaching staff packed it in quarters 2 and 3 most the time anyway... Drkae's a mystery... One of Many...
  2. Just look at our track record of disposed WR's... While none are Jerry Rice, many sure are cotnributing quite nicely elswhere.
  3. Is name calling really necessary? Just disagree and post why...
  4. No Kyle, you are not understanding. If we REALLY wanted him, he never would have made it to New Orleans... Where there is a will, there is a way.
  5. I hear ya... It's like saying which WR would you rather have...Davis or Booker? Anderson offers the only real potential I think...albeit very small. I say draft...
  6. ...soon to be the leading TD catcher in SEA. Good going Bears! You let another good WR go without even giving the kid a chance when it was apparent all your other options SUCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! I hate this team's management and coaches...
  7. I'mnot so sure it was "monster" per se...but I recall it being quite good with a ton of promise...
  8. I complete agree with you about Boss! I was really hoping we'd take a peek before he went to DEN (at least I think it was DEN...)
  9. Everyone's been harping on Barry, and I know only his faults in DET...do you know his background?
  10. If JA really wanted him, he would have sent a red carpet out for him. I don't buy that in the least... It's apparent we didn't want him or at least didn't want to pay for him.
  11. It's random...but fun to ponder! Garza sucked htis year and he was on the cover the Spanish version of Madden! Until a guy on the cover actually wins a SB, people can always find some fault with their season...it's like fortune cookies.
  12. Agreed Chile... If he hadn't failed in Det, I'd say what the heck... But given the failure of those coaches, heck failure of all our coaches now, I don't trust a single one of them.
  13. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2009/writ...ent-team/1.html Inside linebacker Brian Urlacher, Bears -- His reputation says he's one of the most dominating defensive players in the game. But reality says Urlacher just had a season in which he made almost no big plays for a Bears defense that has slid a long way from its 2006 hey day. Urlacher had no sacks, no forced fumbles and just two interceptions this season. That's almost hard to do when you start and play all 16 games in the middle of a defense.
  14. Agreed. I fear we'll again do just well enough again to not let Smith go.
  15. Get out your popcorn, this will be a bumpy ride!

  17. Interesting.... The Wildcat would be really interesting...
  18. Yeah... In actuality, I really blame that POS Packer, Charles Martin, that cheap shotted him after a play was long over. That really killed him... Yeah, part of what made him successful was that he did leave it all on the field... including his drawers in NO!
  19. One more gone. Too bad the big bozo is still in place.
  20. Jimmy Mac was good... He was just injury prone. He wasn't great like Montana or anything. But he was darn good. A fierce competitor, a winner, and a leader...someone that his teammates would follow into battle. Our WR's were basically Gault and McKinnon with a little Gentry mixed in... None of those guys were upper echelon in the least. But, having Payton and Suey made a HUGE difference... Also, Moorehead, while not great, was a good big target as TE.
  21. I hear you on both counts... I personally really don't want him... I don't like players with baggage, let alone his kind of baggage. But I did think the question to be intruiging. Even from her... She is normally just a troll, but even Mariotti once in a while would bring something up that would be interesting. ...usually that I disagreed with, but interesting enough for some discussion.
  22. I pretty much agree. I too like Warner and really wanted him when he was available before going to AZ... Like you mention, if we do get the full overhaul, I'd be for it. Without that, I am opposed.
  23. Yeah...which makes me think his comments about Orton were a smokescreen... Or at least a way to not get a contract done before next season...
