  1. Agreed. There's also the Lottery winner's chance that the D (ie. Mike Brown and Urlacher) will decide to call their own plays and go agasint Babich... OK, I've officially gone off the deep end...
  2. I still am worried... The Jax win didn't do enough to thwart my fears. Bears 24, Saints 28 But, stranger things have happened...
  3. They may still be fighting for home field...I don't expect the Giants to lay down for Minny...
  4. Point well made... While he hasn't really done anything...I oddly do think a different staff could have figured out a way to utilize his skills better.
  5. The legacy of baffling decisions continues on...
  6. Wow, another one of JA's picks that never saw the field won't see the field? Is that really news? (...yes, I knew he did ok on ST...but just saying...)
  7. I do generally agree...however, I'd have no problem with the cut just to send a darn message to this bunch... Then again, I'm not sure anyone would get it...
  8. No chance... Angelo just called me. So gear up for an out of shape 5'9" 240 lb, 6.5 speed, 38 year old guy out there this Thursday with a long unpronouncable last name!
  9. I basically agree. It's nice to know it won't be Dallas or SF in the SB as a guarantee!
  10. Point well made... Why the heck not...it's not as though we even have a WR on staff that's even close to TJ...
  11. I think you're right. If we don't spend the loot to get TJ or wheel n' deal for Boldin, the only real option is in the draft. The rest are band-aid's at best and too much of what we've seen for far too many years come around here.
  12. I generally agree, but have fears of such... Boldin I think is an exception...he's played well with good and bad QB's,etc... But the last thing we need is another Moose has-been, or an Alvin Harper w/o an Irvin... (Ie. Housh concerns me in that regard...great #2, can he really be a #1? I'd still take him in FA...but I have concerns.)
  13. A lobster has better hands than Davis...
  14. I hear you...but I really don't think it's any different now then in the past. Everything is just magnified with the amount of coverage these days. Let's be honest, the Rams shouldn't have been in hte playoffs when we destroyed them in 1985. We really shouldn't have been in 2001 when the Eagles man-handled us, etc. . There are always teams that do well in the regular season due to luck, turnovers, scheduling,etc...then come crashing in the playoffs. Heck, I find most playoff games hard to watch. Usually they are very one sided and boring barring the few exceptions. Most SB's are that way too. Only recently have we seen a couple close ones. It's all relative, it's just that the dynasties have really been broken up by FA...
  15. Yep... KJ can look fro a different home next year. We picked him up as insurance for Forte... Now that policy is no longer needed.
  16. Agreed. As much as we did right, this team is still worrisome. We do lack a killer instinct...and it comes from the top.
  17. If Reid gets bounced, I kind of think Johnson may get a chance as HC in Philly...
  18. We'll hold ya to that Connor! All I'm saying is that a top WR need not cost a 1st rounder. Although I would not be surprised. Wash, or some team may overpay...
  19. "X" takes a square! ...and also, while the team as a whole is bad, the Raiders D isn't bad.
