I'm not sure we are...the Browns put up a good fight against the Ravens this past weekend. But, I agree...we should not turn coaching staffs over so often. But, we'll see how Fox does these next 14 games. If we see more of the same...oh man, it'll be bad.

I do basically agree... However, Loggains does not have the experience that Fangio does. I have some hope Fangio can make good things happen. Loggains...I'mnot so sure.

I am nuts... Realistically, just ask him back at a league average...if he balks, then so be it. BOunce Barth and pick up a different warm body. I'd rather have Morten Anderson because at least he can make extra points... No one know if John Harbaugh could run a team... Just becasue someone's a S/T Coord doesn't mean they can't be a HC. Toub is an innovator. I've got no issue with another gutting. I want Ernie Acorsi to give us that consultant money back... I'm just angry that we continue to be the laughing stock of the league. lemon, I always respect your take. You should have rang the alarm! We all saw it...we looked awful in pre-season. But, it's so easy to discount pre-season....

Sorry, I did get your overall point...it's just for me, what's happened in the past no longer matters. Jay is who is is now. And that QB is not one that will take us the distance. I want the potential for that at minimum. I do agree w/ your Montana assessment... Right now, Chicago is still a dysfunctional organization.

FULL DISCLOSURE - I wrote this early this morning while still very angry and as a very over-reactionary vision...but I might not be wrong. ******************************************************************************** ********************************** If I were McCaskey, I'd do the following, in no particular order: 1. Have Fox fire Loggains today. Either find a guy on the street like Greg Roman, or promote from within. 2. Put Pace on notice. You have one more year. You better draft an immediate impact player or franchise QB in round 1. 3. Fire Fox at the end of the season and hire Dave Toub. Toub is innovative. He has roots. And our ST have been atrocious since his departure. The game has passed Fox by. And Fangio seem intent on running his old D when he had the horses to run the race. We don't have those horses. Change or get passed up... 4. Reach back out to Gould. Apologize and offer more money. We can draft a guy next season, but to the paying fans for the next 7 games at home, we owe them a chance. 5. Make sure Cutler does not play another down for the Chicago Bears other than as a back-up this season. I want him out of the building at season's end.

Every QB is better with a good run game and good OL. jason has preached that for years. But, it is also the QB...Jay just can't seem to get out of his way. There's always an inopportune turnover. Always. And about 3-4 balls that somehow don't get intercepted per game. I've had enough. Next man up. My bigger concern is with the coaching staff. They look completely overwhelmed as well. Pace...dunno. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but his 2 first round picks look like guys. Not stars. We'll see...

Well said Stinger... I have really tried to have my glass appear half full...but from what we saw last year, what we've been seeing in thepre-season and these last 2 games...we are rudderless. Time to hire Dave Toub as HC... Your assessment of the bright spots regarding Hall and our MLB's are spot on. I'm still not sure about White. He appears to be a WR3. He has some hope to be a WR2. Not a bust, but certainly not impact like Coleman... Sadly, I still think we need a pass rusher... Floyd looks overwhelmed in the NFL so far.

I don't feel remotely bad for Jay. He's made a boat ton of loot... I can't imagine anyone that stupid to trade for Cutler. The Bears can't trade to themselves! Agreed. But, unicorns aren't real... And my glass is not half full. It's empty. It was Lagavulin 16...

Plain and simple...I do not like what I see. No identity. No soul. No talent. No wins. The coaching is poor. I just find myself where I felt with Trestmans' last year... No hope... I stand defeated as the Bears are... Embarrassed. Yes, as all our rivals like to say, the Bears still suck. I have zero expectations for the remainder of the season.

I stand corrected. You have been right the whole time.... I'm done thinking we have any semblance of hope with Cutler under center. There are other problems, but Cutler does indeed suck.

Langford is no Forte... But Forte's offensive line didn't fail his team as bad and allowed him 30+ carries... That makes a big difference.

Maybe he'll be the first RB in history to beat father time... I wish him well, but if those numbers of touches continue, the Jets are going to get him hurt.
